VETERINARY SCIENCE MAJOR
Specialization: Small animals

Caring of animals

The family relationship of Sinderella and her mga hayop (=the mice, the birds, dog Bruno, and horse Major) is shown throughout the movie. This is all not to say she treats the mice as humans, rather, she treats even the smallest mga hayop with consideration. Thus, she acts lovingly towards them and isn’t going to allow any unfair suffering under her care - perfect for being a vet.

(And - needless to say - rather than Pagbibisikleta the abuse she received to others or herself or becoming mapait and cynical in how her care isn’t reciprocated, Sinderella transformed this abuse into love.)

Relationship with animals

Now, although Sinderella and her mga hayop couldn’t empathize with each other (=mice aren’t “abused, humiliated [and be made into a servant]”; Sinderella isn’t in constant mortal danger of a cat), they definitely sympathized because they recognized each other’s hardships and gave comfort.

Apart from her natural fortitude and optimism (=“for with each dawn she found new hope”), I believe that Sinderella gained a fair amount of strength from her true and real mga kaibigan and family. It was this mutual compassion and consideration in their friendship/family relationship that helped give Sinderella the community support which helped her cope.

As a vet, going through the animal sickness together, Sinderella would also have a great bedside manner. She would be strong for them and gain strength from their strength.

From Cindy; to Animals

Sinderella provides the same housework to her animal family as to her human stepfamily. As she clothes (=mending, sewing, laundry, etc) the humans, she clothes the mice and birds. She feeds everyone at the chateau. Seemingly anything related to clothes, food, or cleaning, etc, she would have done. Not to mention she was madami than willing to adopt any mouse “visitor” into the animal family. As a vet, her responsibilities would be different but just as vital.

All her domestic skills, in particular, would help immensely: her attention to detail in sewing little clothes (=for stitches), her cleaning (=to prevent infection), and multi-tasking in getting chores done. Not to mention her pangkalahatang resourcefulness in keeping her animal family alive (=from traps and from cat) for that long and the mental toughness to continue to be her “ever gentle and kind” self despite horrible conditions. Because of her very adaptable and strong character, she would be able to handle the stress of veterinary practice.

To Animals; from Cindy

In her movie, the mga hayop gratefully appreciated all her hard work and helped her in return as best they could: the morning routine, informing of ‘visitors’, finishing her dress, the transformation into another species so she can go to the ball, the complete endearment of her memories at the ball despite losing track of time and getting caught, and the warning of Tremaine following her and her eventual escape from her room. (In fact, for Jaq and Gus, they literally risk their lives for beads and key). A lot of these things are either dangerous or a race against time; things they wouldn’t have done unless they really cared for her.

Anyways, ligtas to say, there would be a real mutual connection of trust and respect. Thus, although there would be professional detachment, I do believe veterinarian Sinderella would have an excellent doctor-patient relationship.

Training and optimism

Although natural that these species wouldn’t get along, Sinderella wanted harmony:
--Dog to Cat: “I know it isn't easy but at least we should try to get along together” (spoken to Bruno)
--Cat to Dog: “And that includes you” (spoken to Lucifer)
--Cat to Mice: “Oh Lucifer won't you ever learn? (spoken to Lucifer)

Thus, not only would she care for them biologically, but she was also trying to train them psychologically. Sinderella wanted madami than mga hayop living together; she wanted the best situation for the animals: harmony.

The reason why she believed harmony was possible was, I think, because she believed that all animals, despite their bad behaviour, were innately good. For example, with Lucifer, “[he] has his good points too” and “there must be something good about him”.

This optimism and/or hopefulness would be very much needed during difficult times as a vet.

Oath/orders

And lastly, a short but meaningful point, Sinderella is very aware of and acts accordingly to orders. (She even reminds Bruno and Lucifer) As a veterinarian, she’s bounded sa pamamagitan ng one: the Veterinarian's Oath. And throughout the movie she has upheld two of its fundamental aspects: “the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering”

Summary

Despite the abuse and hate received, Sinderella and her mga hayop still had each other: a mutually beneficial support system which helped them cope. Throughout her story, she always showed care and consideration towards the animals. And, further, she also tried to teach the mga hayop the same care and consideration so they could live in harmony if she wasn’t there to moderate.

Because of her goodwill and helpful nature towards all the animals, Sinderella would make an excellent veterinarian.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR: Music (vocal performance)

Being hardworking to sacrificial amounts, understandably Sinderella doesn't have much spare time for other majors or minors. However, while preparing labs, she would sing...

...not only can she sing solo but Sinderella can harmonize (=Sing Sweet Nightingale) so beautifully and effortlessly. Has shown so much talent that when she does have free time she actually makes the arrangements for her choir group.

STEREOTYPE: the Mom/do-it-all

Although never thanked or payed enough for all the work she does, she will always be there for anyone and never takes it to heart. Overall, she finds her major difficult and time-consuming but also very rewarding and when she makes the mga hayop feel better it makes the whole process worthwhile.

After seeing her schedule, when you think about it, it's a wonder how she does all that and still have the effort to sing and dance once and a while.

Mulan is considered a Disney princess and I find that ridiculous because if Mulan is a Disney princess why not Elsa and Anna? Mulan has the characteristics of a hero and a princess, but there is a reason that prevents her from being a princess.
Although she is mga kaibigan with an emperor, that does not make her a princess. Either she would be a royal sa pamamagitan ng birth, or she would marry a prince and earn the pamagat of princess. Being a hero doesn't make a princess, does it? This is really silly. There are a lot of other female characters at Disney who do great heroics, but they're not even one step closer to being princesses. What a great injustice. What a pity. While I pag-ibig Mulan, Mulan is overrated.

I've always loved Rapunzel, she's number four on my paborito princess list. But some people don't agree with me so I'll explain that.

Why people dislike Rapunzel:

1- They see Rapunzel as someone who can do anything, they look for flaws
I cant believe! Why do people see Rapunzel as a completed character? Hobbies and resourcefulness don't make her a do-it-all. For example, I swim, write stories, play the piano, take pag-awit lessons, take a software course, but that doesn't mean I'm perfect or boring. On the contrary, it makes me an influential person and a colorful personality.

2- People hate Rapunzel's...

So...I begin this sa pamamagitan ng saying that I am an adult tagahanga of Ariel. Impacted sa pamamagitan ng The Little Mermaid from the age of 9, I am an adult collector, and I currently have Ariel ALL OVER my adult bedroom.

I commend may-akda Liz Braswell on her "nods" to the elements found in the original 1989 film that is known world over. Some passages of the book she has written made sense to me, while other parts did not. *Eric getting a tattoo was not one of my stand-out paborito moments, and it jarred with all of the proceeding characterization ibingiay to him sa pamamagitan ng the author*

I suppose, for those who didn't pag-ibig Ariel's original...

I haven't written an artikulo for two days, let's say I couldn't finish it. Actually, I had an artikulo for you that ranked princess hair from worst to best, but I thought you might not like it. So I have a better idea. This artikulo is about changing the mga kulay of Rapunzel and Ariel. Their hair, lips and eyes.

I actually pag-ibig their color palettes/some of my paborito princesses/, and I'm Pagsulat this artikulo just for fun. Let's start with Rapunzel.

Naturally, Rapunzel has golden hair and green eyes. But now let's try Ariel's color palette. Let Rapunzel have red lipstick, red hair, and blue eyes....

I LITTERALLY just got done watching the movie, and I must say-I was pleasantly surprised. Disney really got creative with this one. I see it winning some Academy Awards susunod year. That was just a bit of what I thought all together. Now, let's get to the real deal.

The animation:

I like how they used what looked like some 2D animation in the beginning and during some parts of the movie. It gives, not only me, but I'm sure a bunch of you, hope that 2D animation isn't dead. I also liked how they all these bahaghari like mga kulay when the dragons get resurrected. (Am I the only one who was obsessed with...

Here is an artikulo I wrote expressing my opinions on the 3D animated Disney Princesses and how they are in their featured films of Tangled, Brave, Frozen, and Moana. Since Raya and the Last Dragon is coming out on Saturday, I'll try to do an artikulo on her too to see if she's another one of our paborito badass heroines? Or just a damsel in distress waiting to be saved. But anyway, let's get down to brass tacks, shall we?

5. Rapunzel

When I was little and the first trailer for Gusot was advertising ipinapakita another badass heroine who can fight and somewhat heal people's wounds and injuries with...
