I started this artikulo "series" almost a taon ago, but abandoned my fandoms for a while (very sorry to the people who were looking pasulong to it), but now I'm back and want to continue the artikulo (hopefully consistently), please enjoy!

If any of you are familiar with character stylization or really art in general you might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the may-akda of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality is and compare it to the artist's (strictly NOT the writer or director's) original idea of what they wanted the princess to come off as. And if this is at all interesting to you you can look up this with different artists sa pamamagitan ng searching it as "the artist's definition of (their work)" and maybe you can find this with other characters.

P.S I know I had to do a lot of digging on the older movies, because of the lack of documentation, so good luck on the ones post 1980's!

Cinderella -- Cinderella

At this point in time Disney had established itself as a beloved children's animation studio, however the studio was bankrupt at the time with Cinderella, seemingly, about to be the last animated feature to come out, because of this Cinderella's staff, especially animators, were low-budget. Eventually the honor of Cinderella's disensyo (influenced sa pamamagitan ng Mary Blair's artwork) was bestowed upon Marc Davis with Eric Larson and Les Clark as supervising animators.

Walt Disney had chosen Marc Davis specifically, because Mary Blair's art suggested softer lines and Davis was someone he new was very good with making soft characters, mostly do to his nakaraan creations like Bambi and Katrina van Tassel. In fact, around the studio he mostly animated mga hayop and Sinderella was his segundo time animating a human character (with Alice, Aurora and Tinkerbell soon to come).

Davis' paborito concept piece

Marc Davis was very fond of the "simple country girl" aspect for her design, but he wanted aspects of her to be beautiful to "really offset the ugliness of the step-sisters."
In many early concepts of Sinderella she has hardly any features in attempt to match the Mary Blair art style, but eventually she started gaining madami detailed features with Davis favoring the sketches in which she had two plats on each side of her head.

Of course the live-action reference model had a lot to do with how Cinderella's hair and outfits eventually turned out, in fact Disney himself liked the model's style and pagganap for reference and wanted her image nearly copied; However Davis didn't much care for her structure and designed Sinderella sa pamamagitan ng her voice actor instead of the model.

The tanong is: Does her finale form encompass the feeling the animator wanted for her character?

All in all I believe what he was trying to convey with Cinderella's looks is almost a chic country southern kampanilya type of look, but covered with a messy and simple exterior, keeping her face light and regal, but still hinting that she sweats and works hard. The mental image I get in my head is Snow White with messy ponytails and dirt on her face, but still naturally pretty. Personality-wise I feel it'd be closer to Jessie from Toy Story or Danielle from Ever After, which Sinderella doesn't really have since it's much closer to Snow White.

Based on what I got from what he sinabi and his concept art I feel like she turned out a bit too clean-cut and graceful like Belle. I think the "natural beauty" is definitely there seeing as Sinderella wears no make-up with no harsh lines or accessories, but I feel that the "country" aspect is lost, she doesn't really look too "girl" like or "on the ranch," instead she actually leans madami towards a madami mature and graceful look.

Cinderella's outfit, though is very true to form it's simple and maid-like and looks like she takes care of all of the work and spends time in the farm, the fact that it isn't very flattering brings out the beauty beneath the rags which is definitely Davis' vision (and of course the theme of Cinderella). I do think it's a bit too maid-like though, and isn't something like an outdoor stable-hand outfit, (or closer to a milk-maid look) instead it gives me a 1940's housewife vibe.

I think his concepts can definitely be seen in the final product, but, for me, I don't think it fully encompasses what he was going for especially since his contribution to this version of Sinderella was going to be a madami "simple country girl" type, which instead comes across as a similar "regal dainty southern bell."

So what do you think; does Sinderella perfectly embody what you think her animator was going for, or do you think she's way off? Do you agree with me? Would you have preferred the animator's original idea or what she turned out like? Tell me what you're thinking in the comments, especially tell me if you'd like to see madami (since I started this so long ago).

In honor of Mothers’ Day, I decided to do an artikulo ranking my paborito Disney Princess mothers… I know it’s a bit late, but I wanted to make sure I had it worded perfectly! I didn’t include Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel because they are not the biological mothers of the princesses… and I thought it would be fairly obvious where they’d rank. Some of my opinions are going to be quite unpopular, but I hope we can agree to politely disagree.

7. reyna Elinor

I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I really dislike Elinor. While I do believe she loves...

Before you read the lyrics, you should know that I'm doing this from the male perspective because I myself am a guy. Also, originally I had lyrics from Demi Lovato's version but I decided to edit those out and some parts that are a little wordy. Help with the wordy lyrics was done sa pamamagitan ng kristenfan10109. I hope you enjoy it!

The moon glows bright on the ocean tonight
Not a footprint in the sand
A whole world of isolation,
And it looks like I'm the king.

The waves are calm unlike this emotional storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried!

Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be...

13. Aurora

I really pag-ibig Aurora and I do think she's brave, just not as much as the other princesses above. Her bravest moment is when she chooses to leave the cottage with the mga engkanto instead of staying there and waiting for Phillip

12. Jasmine

I placed hasmin higher than Aurora because hasmin is outspoken which makes her a slight bit madami brave, but like Aurora she doesn't actually have a lot of bravo moments. Her...

As the girls continued to walk home, Mulan began to feel some minor pain in her abdomen. She thought it was just a cramp from all that climbing she did. "Are you alright, Mulan?" Pocahontas asked. "Yeah. Just a cramp." Mulan answered. "I hope it's nothin' serious." Merida replied. "It's not. The baby might be growing." Mulan replied. Pocahontas and Merida just smiled at her thought.

However, the pain only progressed the susunod morning. Mulan held her stomach lightly as she got out of bed. To make matters worse, Shang noticed. He rushed out of kama to be at his love's side. "Are you OK?" he asked....

As reyna Elsa is exposed to the dangers of her magic, her magic begins to grow into an uncontrollable force that she fears will bring ruin to everything she touches. This vivid imagery not only presents the audience with an interesting story development,it actually exemplifies and alludes to what an individual feels when experiencing anxiety and depression. If we take Elsa's magic to be a physical representation of anxiety and depression her journey to learn to control her powers reflects well the journey many people undergo when they experience anxiety or depression.
Elsa is the direct cause...

The physical attributes of Ariel, as a human and mermaid.

One thing I've noticed about Ariel, is that she gets a lot of praise and detest for her hair. The big clump of red, flowing hair is absolutely beautiful to me; but everyone calls it unrealistic.

This is the point where I think CGI animation would really help out TLM. If she had been drawn/done in that animation, her hair color would of been madami exaggerated. They would of taken time to add in different shades of red, and oranges. Her hair...

I've seen these artikulo around and I got the urge to do one myself. They seem so fun! And of course I'll give you the iugnay so you can enjoy the music and maybe even get down with your funky self. ANYWAY before I get too crazy let's hit the music!

Snow White - Love Story sa pamamagitan ng Taylor Swift

One song, I have but one song, one song that is perfect for Snow White. Not to diss my beloved Snow White, but I usually associate her with the classic pag-ibig story, pag-awit about a prince and how he'll carry her away and though her motives aren't always because of her prince ideal I feel that she always...
