Here we go, from least paborito to favorite, here's the Mother's araw countdown results! I know mother's araw was two days nakaraan but I'm not waiting a whole taon to put up the artikulo so here we go :)

13. Evil Queen
So it's pretty obvious why she was taken out first; She forced her stepdaughter to be a scullery maid and tried to have her killed (twice) just because she was jealous of how beautiful Snow White was.

12. Lady Tremaine
Again, pretty obvious why she was taken out early. Like Snow White, Cinderella's stepmother forced her to be a maid. But unlike Snow White at least Tremaine didn't actually try to kill Cinderella. That doesn't mean she's any better though because she gave Sinderella false hope of going to the ball and had her daughters tear up Cinderella's dress when it looked like Sinderella was able to go, and then locked her in her room so she couldn't marry the prince.

11. Mother Gothel
There's some people who believe that maybe Gothel did care about Rapunzel a little bit, at least enough to make her her paborito pagkain and go on a 3 araw trip to get her the paint she wants. The thing is, though, whether she really cared or not doesn't really matter.
1. Rapunzel was scared to leave the tower because Gothel lied to her about how the world was full of monsters and about how her hair was cut
2. Gothel practically emotionally starved Rapunzel sa pamamagitan ng leaving for a long time and having Rapunzel come to her for hugs and any pag-ibig she gave to Rapunzel like kisses was all to Rapunzel's hair

10. reyna Leah
Obviously she loved Aurora very much but we didn't see too much of her and Aurora together to really have an opinion of her

9. Arianna
Again, it's obvious she loved Rapunzel but we don't see them together too much in the movie to have an opinion

8. Grandmother Willow
Mother or not, we see that she and Pocahontas have a great relationship and she gives her great wisdom. When I picture a wise grandma, she's always the first person (or tree?) that comes to mind

7. Elinor
There's mixed feelings about Elinor. We know she does care about Merida and she wants what's best for her. On the other hand, she's so incredibly strict and she tries to put her through an arranged marriage. Also she straight up sets Merida's bow on fire. She shows remorse right away and takes it back out of the apoy but we never actually see her apologize to Merida for doing it.

6. Ariel
Like Elinor Ariel was really strict with her daughter. Almost like King Triton strict. We know that there was a good reason Ariel had to keep Melody away from the ocean; it was for her safety because Morgana was going to use her as leverage to get what she wanted. But the thing is Ariel didn't tell Melody why she had to stay away from the ocean. There wasn't any reason for Melody not to know and because Melody didn't know about Morgana she ended up going to Morgana without a segundo thought to become a mermaid.

5. Fa Li
Fa Li loved her daughter, we can plainly see that. However any time we saw her and Mulan together there was some strictness involved, like when Mulan was late and needed to get ready for the matchmaker. But at least unlike Elinor and Ariel we don't actually see her yell at Mulan or be so strict that Mulan had to run away. And when Mulan did run away to take her father's place in the army Fa Li was obviously really scared for her daughter and was madami worried that her daughter might die than the idea of her daughter bringing dishonor on the family

4. Athena
We only see her in the prequel and it's only for a few minutos at the beginning. But unlike Leah and Arianna, the few minutos we see her is spent with her family who we see she loves very much. We see her pag-awit her girls a song before bed, we see them all together at a family outing on the surface, and we see her watching Ariel play the piano. I really wish we could have seen madami of her in the prequel.

3. Grandma
Grandma is someone I expect a lot of us to be when we're old. She has some of the best one liners ("sign me up for the susunod war!") and she practically owns every scene she's in. We don't see her with her son or grandaughter too much but we know she cares about her family.

2. Eudora
Eudora cares about Tiana and she is really supportive of her, something we rarely see in most Disney movies. She's proud of Tiana no matter what she does and she wants her to be happy, she just doesn't want her daughter to run herself ragged to fulfill James' dream of owning a restaurant.

1. Mrs. Potts
Mrs. Potts is just the best. Mrs. Potts wasn't just Chip's mom, she was everyone's mom. She was so nurturing and sweet and loveable, she acted like a mom for Belle and for the beast and she gave payo that can be used for anyone outside the movie. I personally saw her madami as a grandma than a mom (probably because she's a lot like my grandma haha)

 Who will play Belle?
Who will play Belle?
So, I have been hearing from many people over their disagreements about Emma Watson's casting as Belle. So, I thought that I would write this artikulo about it if she wasn't cast at all, first no hard feelings to any Emma Watson fans out there (including myself) or to the actress herself. So here are my listahan of actresses.

1. Anne Hathaway

I first heard her sing in Les Miserables, she blew everybody away with her rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream', she's a marvelous singer in her own rights and I'm glad she's a talented actress!

2. Keira Knightley

I remember doing a poll regarding this 6 years ago...

Who's pag-awit voice do you choose? Jasmine?
Who's singing voice do you choose? Jasmine?
So, this song has been covered sa pamamagitan ng a few artists, like Lucy Hale sa pamamagitan ng turning it into a country version. Then, another Disney bituin sang it, it is none other than Lea Salonga herself! Are you ready for a battle between Team Salonga and Team Menzel? Here we go!

Idina Menzel

While I enjoy her version, she's a bit pitchy in certain parts. Although at some parts she's very emotional and I like that, because she's very ominous like Elsa and I'm glad that I like her version.

Lea Salonga

Many of you know that she was the pag-awit voice of Mulan and Jasmine, when I heard her version. I thought that she sounds even better than Idina! I would not actually mind her voicing Elsa anyway.
But I guess that they don't want Elsa to sound like hasmin and Mulan!

Conclusion

While both of them are good singers, I would say that Lea is the best singer out of these two!
 Mulan?

Since it isn't so much left until pasko I decided to write a few artikulo here on that theme, not sure how many I'll do, but here's the first one. You may not remember this song, but link in case you haven't heard the song. Anyway originally the song had the 6 first Disney Princesses pag-awit the song, but I decided to redo the song a bit sa pamamagitan ng adding 6 new princesses and their parts has new lyrics. I decided to exclude Merida, so the new parts will be dedicated to Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa. I'll write on each part which princess that has that part, anyway hope you'll...

What I will write will be similar to what I wrote on the last article. Most of my opinions are the same except for Aladdin. I wanted to write an updated artikulo because I finally rewatched Aladdin. Please no rude comments. Enjoy!

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

12. Frozen- As many of you know, like bravo I detest this movie. The characters are very irritating & the movie was trying way too hard...

Charm-the Real Feminine Mystique:
"A girl need not have perfect features nor an outstanding figure to be popular. But she should have charm. As Sir James Barrie had Maggie say in his play, What Every Woman Knows, 'If you have it, you don't need to have anything else; and if you don't have it, it doesn't much matter what else you have.'

Once you have acquired charm, you'll probably never lose it. Especially after you have discovered how much happier your life is because you are considered to be that charming girl down the street.

To be charming you need not to be any particular age, weight or height...

Inspired sa pamamagitan ng link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with paborito Openings. I actually really pag-ibig the original fairy tale concept of the Disney Princesses and I pag-ibig the openings that give a madami magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope you guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: nagyelo Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

I, myself only knew 7 out of 14. Who knows, you might know madami than me or know less than me. Either way enjoy pagbaba and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Production designer Richard Vander Wende devised a simple color scheme for the film, inspired sa pamamagitan ng its desert setting. Blue (water) stands for good, red (heat) for evil, and yellow (sand) is neutral. For example, the villainous Jafar is clad in blacks and reds, while the virtuous hasmin wears blue. Another example is in the Cave of Wonders, where the lamp's chamber is blue, and the ruby that tempts Abu is bright red.

2) hasmin was originally...

Here's my quick top10 favorites of Disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune or lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I pag-ibig become my all time favorites and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic music is. Anyways, this is my current listahan of tuktok 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I ilipat onto newer songs.

.... Or Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be madami positive people. They cared madami about well-roundedness, being modest...

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd paborito princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

The saddest moments from DP pelikula that made me cry and most often they still do. Some are close to puso while some are so well enacted and animated that i'm moved sa pamamagitan ng the simplicity of emotions.

13. 3 good mga engkanto put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.

I got this idea when I learned that at one point, Disney actually was using some of the princesses in cause advertisements and it got me thinking: If each of the Disney Princesses wanted to select a cause/charity to contribute to, which would it be?

Snow White- Senior Citizens: Snow White ends up homeless after running away from the evil reyna and she was fortunate that the 7 dwarfs took her in. This is why I think she would want to help senior citizens the way she did for the dwarfs and the way that they helped her (although they were not senior, they were getting close).

Cinderella- Animal...

So I've been pagbaba that the "Prettiest Princess" ranking is sort of like a right of passage artikulo that all of the fans here on fanpop do so I figured it was time for my own. Instead of just doing a physical beauty ranking, I wanted to do an pangkalahatang beauty ranking instead. I personally see ranking women based only on their physical beauty as objectifying them so I am kind of confused that it's not looked at that way here on fanpop? (Not saying this to judge or condone others but just out of genuine curiosity and confusion considering the way some fans have reacted to perceived objectification...

Like I stated in my last wallpost I'm about to lose my grandmother and so I decided to write an artikulo about some of the Saddest Moments in the DP pelikula in no particular order (but I'll mention my number 1 in the end of the article). So anyway hope you'll like this article

Brave: The 2nd Sunrise
I may not be a big tagahanga of Brave, but this scene is sad, when I first saw this movie in the cinemas I cried during this scene and I still find this scene to be quite sad

Cinderella: The Dress Ripping Scene
This scene is so sad to watch everytime, Sinderella had the chance of finally getting out of the...
