I honesty do not know. I could easily see it as part of the "New Renaissance", I could also see it as the last film of the Post Renaissance, and at the same time, it has not been declared that Disney is going through another Renaissance

I don't think Disney is going through another renaissance just yet, it's a little too early to tell. I think it depends on how Frozen will turn out.

obviously not sure of the accuracy but according to this... link

PatF marked the end of the Post-Renaissance and Tangled began the Modern Era.

^^ I think Frozen will determine if we are as well; if it does bad, then no, if it does well, Disney is back on top

^ I just looked at that an hour ago, and that is what I saw. I looked at it a few weeks ago, and The Princess and the Frog was a part of the Modern Era. I don't know

I don't even count Mulan to the Renaissance era, not really. I'm not sure how to call Mulan, PatF and Tangle, or how to call the era, but in terms of DP movies, they build a group for me.

I don't really get the difference between the first two.

^ Yes meaning that it is the final Post-Renaissance film before Tangled started the era rumoured to be called "The New Renaissance"

Trhe other means that there is no new era and that the Post-Renaissance Era is still current

^^ Why don't you count Mulan as a part of the Renaissance? It does not belong with the films in the early 2000s. Do you consider Pocahontas to be a part of the Post-Renaissance as well?

I think the last film will be determined on Frozen, like others. Because PatF and Tangled were perfectly fit for the renaissance. Maybe Tangled is a little off- but if Frozen is bad then I vote that Tangled and all the films after it are in the modern era.

I believe the term most are using is the "Disney Revival." :) PatF did help bring Disney back into the public eye, it had a huge hand in starting the Revival.
