but this was the most obvious guess that she was the little girl/baby it was so so so so obvious not really surprised tbh

I also was hoping for the her to be the doctors, slightly disappointed that she isn't. I thought the big bad twist would be the Doctor as Melodys father not 'wow she is Amys child' (i think 99% of the viewers had already worked that out). Apparantly Rory and Amy conceived on the Tardis and somehow it manipulated their DNA.

Quite a disappointing ending to the first half really...
Moffat's known to do big bad twists I really thought he would have made the Doctor her father (and I wanted him to be).
I thought he said nobody would be able to guess it and practically everyone did... ¬_¬

I haven't seen this episode yet but I'd really like to know how River/Melody's DNA has been manipulated. This seems an interesting plot twist.
The only thing that disappoints me a little is River being the child of Amy and Rory, but not an actual Lady Time Lord from Gallifrey. I had hope she would be a Time Lord, not an half one.

I read that she was on the internet. I didn't want her to be the doctors because im a fan of doctor/River

i was also dissapointed with who she is. The way everyone went on about it, it was like a dark dark secret and you will be very shocked at least 70% guessed she'd be their daughter. I wanted her to be Amy, like a re-generated or a older verson of her. Or maybe even the Doctor and Amy's child that would have been SOOOOOO much better, not cause i wanted it to happen, but everyone would have been more shocked! steven could have done a lot better with her identity he's great at every other cliffhanger

She had to be Amy and Rory's daughter because if she were the Doctor's daughter she would have not flirted with him, calling him "sweetie" like either a wife or girlfriend would. I'm a big fan of the Doctor/River.

I felt it was kinda anticlimactic. Everybody kinda guessed it and I found the explanation about why she is a time lord is a bit lame.

@Solo- Really? I found it to be funny, but that's just me :P

Anyway, I really liked this episode alot. I liked how Moffat explained how the Time Lords came to be and such, and that it brought back some old characters from the other seasons. The suspense was well done, if I must say. Overall, very well done but I like Moffat's writing alot. Really, one of my favorite script writers :)

I thought it was great, even though pretty much everyone predicted it. The Doctor and Amy's daughter... I think that's SO cute! The Doctor's face after he found out was priceless.. AW! Officially jumped on the River/Doctor fanwagon. LOL.
