U.K.), Emma Thompson reprised her role as the \'other\' magical governess who unlike Mary Poppins has a more unpleasant face and demeanor, but gets results helping families in need nonetheless. The character and films are adapted from Christianna Brand\'s Nurse Matilda children\'s books.

I always find it\'s almost impossible to photograph black costumes, especially behind reflective glass, but I think you can see the fabric pattern and costume detail on this ensemble designed by

Jacqueline Durran (although it\'s a shame her hat isn\'t part of the exhibit).
