Could someone tell me, what happened with George & Lexie´s "crapartment"?

They got it together in season 4, in the finale George kissed Lexie there and the last time I remember seeing that place was in 5x07 - Life During Wartime.
But what happened then?!
In the middle of S5 suddenly Lexie & Mark were hiding in Meredith´s attic and in S5 finale Mark was searching for a house because he kinda "doesn´t want to live in the attic anymore", plus asked Lexie about moving in with him and she didn´t even mentioned the "crapartment".
Anybody knows? Because I don´t. Maybe it was somewhere...but I truly can´t remember.

in the season 6 premiere lexie is talking to mark telling him how she was a horrible friend. she sinabi that he didn't like her back so she just dropped him. she left and moved into mer's attic and mark would be sneaking in and out of it, secretly living there. because he used to live in that hotel i think.

also as for george, in season 5 shonda started phasing him out with only a few group scenes because she was planning the finale. and in order for the finale to work, no one could notice that george was gone for most of the episode.

Thank you! :)) I thought maybe there was something about it in S6 (I haven´t seen it yet, I will start soon *angelface*) but I didn´t really believe it...and that idea of not noticing that George was gone for most of the episoode is...uhm, clever :) But very little George in S5 without important scenes was sad anyway :( I think also Izzie wasn´t very good friend for him when he was the last to learn that she has cancer :/

yeah, after gizze didn't work out, izze and george stopped being izzie and george. well they kinda stopped right before they became gizze, but after gizze they didn't really talk.
