"LOST" RETROSPECT: (2.10) "The 23rd Psalm"

During its six years on the air, "LOST" managed to earn five Emmy nominations for Pagsulat in a Drama Series. The series earned its segundo Pagsulat nomination for its Season Two episode called (2.10) "The 23rd Psalm".

Written sa pamamagitan ng showrunners Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, and directed sa pamamagitan ng Matt Earl Beesley; "The 23rd Psalm" is the first "LOST" episode to explore the backstory of Tail Section survivor, Mr. Eko. The episode began several decades earlier, when guerilla fighters arrived at a small Nigerian village. The guerilla fighters are there to recruit...

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (2.09) "What Kate Did"

Kate Austen has to be one of the most divisive characters on the ABC series, "LOST". The character has generated some very extreme reactions from the show's fans. The latter have either loved her or hated her. I had harbored a good deal of dislike toward Kate, myself for a long period. However, my dislike stemmed from the writers' handling of her character and a good number of the fans' attitude toward the mistakes and crimes she had committed. A good example of this attitude could be found in the general reaction to the Season Two episode called (2.09)...

I'm not sure if this subject has really been touched on yet, but I would like to bring it up. I've noticed this for quite a long time now. It seems like there a lot characters in the ipakita that have had/have problems with their dad. The madami and madami characters I realized had this in commmon, the madami interested I became. Here, in somewhat brief descriptions, are most of what I could think of.
- Jack: dad was an alcoholic, had family he didnt know about(Claire), dad died, sees dad on island
- Kate: blew up her real dad, dad abused her and her mother
- Locke: dad was never around, dad steals his...

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (2.94) "Everybody Hates Hugo"

Unless I am mistaken, Season Two of "LOST" is not very popular with the show's fans. This season expanded on the Hatch (DHARMA sisne Station) subplot that was touched upon in the segundo half of Season One. This season introduced a tiresome running joke surrounding the Michael Dawson character. And it also featured the introduction of the survivors from Oceanic 815's Tail Section, which included the unpopular character, Ana-Lucia Cortez. In some way, the fourth episode - (2.04) "Everybody Hates Hugo" - seemed to be some kind of manifestation of...

CHARLIE: Anything?

JACK: You keep asking if there's anything.

CHARLIE: Pardon me for appearing desperate, but before the pilot was ripped from the cockpit, he did say that no-one's going to find us unless we … get that transceiver working. So … is there anything?

KATE: [to Charlie] What were you doing? In the bathroom?

CHARLIE: I thought you could tell. I was getting sick. Puking. My one tangible contribution to the trek.

KATE: No. I'm glad you came. Charlie.

CHARLIE: Every...

I wrote this artikulo after viewing the Season Two episode, (2.09) "What Kate Did" some three years ago:

"LOST": A Tale of Two Fathers

Back in Season Two, "LOST" aired an episode called (2.09) "What Kate Did". The episode revealed the crime that led castaway Kate Austen (Evangeline Lilly) to being a fugitive for three years - she had murdered her father, Wayne Jensen (James Horan), and used his death to collect insurance for her mother, Diane (Beth Broderick). The episode also revealed Kate's reason for her act of murder. She had just learned that Wayne - a man she had presumed to be her stepfather...

Respuestas: Tom a.k.a. Mr. Friendly likes to get friendly with high class Latino male escorts. I, for one, am not surprised. I knew he was gay when he told Kate that she was “not [his] type”. I bet Tom volunteered to go on missions off the Island a lot. It’s got to be pretty lonely being the only gay Other. At least Juliet could hook up with Goodwin and Ben could watch sullenly. Tom could have none of that. He was...

While pagbaba the TV TROPES site on Heroic BSOD for Live Action telebisyon series, I read this passage about the Michael Dawson character from "LOST":

"Let's face it, Michael's death was the best thing that happened, because, well, his character wasn't all that useful, other than being an in-universe joke on why some people really shouldn't be parents.".

The artikulo earlier made this comment about the fans' reaction to Michael:

"While we're on the subject of Lost, let's mention Michael who might be the show's punching bag as he goes through the entire series stuck...

 Aaron Littleton
Aaron Littleton
On February 4, 2009, ”LOST” aired an episode called (5.04) ”The Little Prince”. In this episode, former fugitive Kate Austen discovered that that someone knows the secret of Aaron Littleton’s true parental lineage. When I first learned about this episode, I found myself wondering if the series would finally address the moral consequences of the Oceanic Six’s lie about Aaron. It did . . . on a very limited scale.

As everyone knows, Australian survivor, Claire Littleton had ibingiay birth to an infant son named Aaron on the castaways’ 41st araw on the island. While on the run from the...

Josh Randall as Nathan in 'The Other 48 Days'
Josh Randall as Nathan in 'The Other 48 Days'
For some time now, we've just accepted that Nathan (season 2, episode 7 Tailie from 'The Other 48 Days') is Canadian and that Ana Lucia merely had 'the wrong guy'.
I'm asking the question... Who is Nathan really?
On several re-watches of the episode, I started to realize there was a lot madami going on than I originally thought.

One thing that's important to remember is LOST's Canada deception!

It's well known that EVERY other reference to Canada or being Canadian on Nawawala (and there are many), is indicative of deception.

It stands to reason that Nathan may not actually be Canadian at all, or if he...

Please note; this artikulo has no season 6 spoilers beyond the 2-hour premier. I'm just compiling this from what has already been addressed in nakaraan seasons, and what that means for storyline's in season 6.

How time travel works on Nawawala
Its been a long discussed theme that 'whatever happened, happened' meaning that the time travel on Nawawala is presented as something that cannot be changed no matter what you do to try and stop it. This is called link which is time travel without creating a link. However, with every non-linear equation there is always a variable, and as Daniel Faraday put...

I have a confession to make. I must be one of the few viewers of television’s "LOST" who does not dislike the series' lead character, Dr. Jack Shephard. Before anyone makes the assumption that he is a paborito character of mine, let me make one thing clear. He is not. But for some strange reason, I do not dislike Jack.

For the past three or four seasons, many "LOST" fans have ranted consistently against Jack’s faults. Mind you, he is not the only flawed character in the series. In fact, most of the major charactes seemed to possess some very serious...

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (4.01) "The Beginning of the End"

Looking back on six seasons of "LOST", it occurred to me that my opinion of the series' season premieres have been decidedly mixed. I have enjoyed at least two of them. I have found two of them mildly entertaining. And the last two have struck me as somewhat unmemorable.

The Season Four season premiere, (4.01) "The Beginning of the End", served as a follow-up to the superb Season Three finale, (3.22-3.23) "Through the Looking Glass". In that episode, the Oceanic 815 castaways had managed to contact a freighter called the Kahana that recently...

All right, so after watching "Jughead", I realize that we Nawawala fans have a lot to talk about!

All right, so I'm about to go on a Lost-rant? Ready? *Deep breath* Here we go:

This theory has been floating around for a while, so I thought I'd bring it to Fanpop and see what you guys thought: Sawyer stepped on that piece of bamboo (or whatever it was) in "The Lie". It was pretty big and dug into his foot pretty deep. People have speculated that because of this, Sawyer ends up...

Welcome back. Another season starts but unfortunately it is only 8 episodes long.

The pamagat references Ben's line in the season three finale. He says to Jack, "Making that call is the beginning of the end."
This is the first season premiere that was not Jack-centric. It's also the first season premiere that didn't open with a shot of someone's eye.

The opening shot of the car crashing into the piled prutas is a humorous reference to season 1. The prutas is bayabas - the only pagkain available to the Losties in their early days on the island. In season 1, Hurley -- out in the jungle for a 'bathroom...

I have a confession to make. I did not watch the ABC series “LOST” from the beginning. In fact, I did not start watching the series until (2.02) “Adrift”, the segundo episode of Season Two. However, I could barely maintain interest in the show, until the Season Two episode, (2.04) “Everybody Hates Hugo”.

To be honest, there was nothing particularly special about that episode. But there was one scene that really made me sit up and notice. This scene featured a moment in which Tail Section survivor Ana-Lucia Cortez punched James “Sawyer” Ford....
