This is sort of AU as it takes place in Storybrooke despite the new curse and what not).

Roland stretched his arm out as far as he could, yet the boy still couldn't seem to reach the tuktok branch on the tree. In fact he barely reached the middle of the tree. Regina looked up from her place on the sofa, taking one madami sip of her coco she sinabi to Robin "Why don't you give Roland a hand?"

To which Robin stood up and walked over to Roland. He lifted the boy off the ground. "Alright Roland, put it wherever you want." Roland smiled and placed the last ornament on the tallest branch.

"Got it dad." He...

Did anyone else see the parallels between the compass in "Tallahassee" and the magic sitaw in "...And Straight On 'Til Morning"?

Both the sitaw and the compass are necessary tools to travel between the worlds and are a symbol of hope. Both items take a lot of hassle to procure - climbing the beanstalk and fighting the giant for the compass and growing and fighting Tamara and Greg for the bean.

In "Tallahassee" Emma has the compass and refuses to let Hook hold it before deciding to not to risk trusting him and chaining him up. She couldn't risk trusting him because she had to get back to Henry....
