One Direction\'s new album is called Made in the A.M. Y\'all already know that \'cos we told you about it here and made this slightly ridiculous quiz to determine when you were made here. But what on Veronica Malik\'s green Earth does Made in the A.M. actually mean, eh?

Here at Sugarscape we\'re never ones to read into things too much (an in-depth look at 5SOS\'s kneecaps, anyone?) but this album title\'s got us thinkin\'. Remember how Midnight Memories pretty much started out as \'I love KFC\'? Well we reckon the same thing might\'ve gone on here.

Basically we\'re looking for an explanation but, since the lads haven\'t told us what the frick it\'s all about yet, we\'ve been left to come up with a few theories of our own. All totally legitimate and realistic, obviously.

So what *does* Made in the A.M. mean, exactly? We reckon it might be any or all of the following:

This one\'s kinda self-explanatory. This is the boys\' first album without Zayn, innit? So A.M.

mean After Malik or something. A.M. is the new A.D. Anno Domini\'s, like, not even a thing any more.

The entire album\'s a concept record about the reality telly show and/or all that malarky that went down between Niall Horan and Louise Thompson. YOU NEVER KNOW. Stranger things have happened.

Picture the scene: Niall painting Liam\'s nails, Louis debating whether to order in Domino\'s or Pizza Hut and getting \'em to fight for his custom. The boys are just chillin\' together having movie night when talk turns to the album title. "Maid in Manhattan?" suggests Liam. "Nah, mate. Made in the A.M. makes more sense," replies Harry. And there you go.

\'Cos this is their last album for a bit, isn\'t it? Not that we\'re gonna dwell on that too much/all all, but yeah. Also the it was made in the AFTERMATH of Zayn leaving. Another potential deep and meaningful theory. God we\'re so philosophical.

Don\'t front like y\'all don\'t want that. It\'s the new \'Teenage Dirtbag\' or \'Torn,\' in our opinion.
