I really don't think Paramore's music is of the emo genre. I think it's madami to alternative rock and pop punk. But not emo. Definitely not emo.

Bands like FOB, MCR and Paramore are all grouped under the generic umbrella of 'emo' even though they aren't even close to being that kind of music. I do agree with you about Paramore being under the generic term of emo. A lot of people really have the wrong understanding of emo.

Hmmm... I do agree with you on some points... But surely most songs these days express emotions. lol. walang tiyak na layunin example... Erm Celine Dion? My puso Will Go On? It does express emotions. Well, lovey dovey emotions... Surely it's not emo, right?

No. Absolutely not. I have nothing against emo. The reason why I asked this tanong is that... Ah... How should I say this? It's like calling Whitney Houston a rocker. I really have nothing against emo. I just think that this is wrong categorization.
