After everyone left the New Religion household, Carl asked, "Did you have a good birthday, Paul?" Paul said, "It was the best. I had no idea you were doing all this for me." Erin said, "We thought it would be nice to throw a surprise party for you, since you've never had one." Lola said, "Yeah. You really surprised me on my twenty-first birthday, Paul. I had to return the favor." Paul smiled at his mates, and they smiled back. He offered to help his mates clean up, but Erin insisted that he go on to bed. She said, "You look tired. I think you deserve a rest." Paul proceeded to get ready for bed. When he got into his bed, he was so exhausted that he fell asleep before his head hit the pillow. Erin, Carl, and Lola finished cleaning up, and they went to check on Paul. He was sound asleep, but he didn't have the covers on him. Erin gently covered him up so that he could stay warm. She then stroked his hair and whispered, "Good night, Paul." She quietly slipped out of the room with Carl and Lola. Lola said, "I think we should call it a night." Carl said, "I agree." Erin said, "I'm glad Paul had a good birthday." Lola said, "Me too." They then went to their beds for the night.

When Jane's birthday arrived, she got everything she had hoped to get. Her paborito gift was a guitar. Her father said, "I know you always wanted one. I could tell it when you'd play the guitars in music stores." She said, "It's so amazing! Thank you!" After playing on her gitara for a while, Jane sinabi to herself, "I enjoyed playing the guitars at music stores. It's great that I finally have one of my own." Just then, her mother said, "We have one madami present for you." Jane said, "Really?! What is it?!" Just then, a Siberian Husky tuta ran up to her. Jane said, "Wow! I always wanted a Husky!" Her mother said, "We saw her at the shelter, and we knew she'd be a perfect fit for you. Her name is Shiloh." Jane said, "Like the first Husky they had on Gone to the Snow Dogs!" Of course, Jane's puppy, Shiloh, had a different amerikana color, red and white. As she went to kama that night, Jane was confident about starting at her new school the susunod day.

It was just after Christmas, and Jane and her parents were on their way to Michigan. Her father had gotten a job offer there, which forced them to move. She really enjoyed the sights of Grand Rapids. She always wanted to go to Grand Rapids, and she actually got to go. When Jane and her parents arrived at their new home, she helped with unpacking. Later that night, Jane admitted that she was nervous about starting at a new school on January 3, the araw after her thirteenth birthday. Her mother said, "Don't worry, Jane. I'm sure you'll be fine." Jane said, "I don't know. What if my new classmates...

Erin and I met Carl and Lola in high school. We became acquainted with Carl when we worked with him on a project in English class. He mentioned that he played drums, so we went to his house. He had great chemistry with us, and he was as passionate about music as we were. We became acquainted with Lola when she threw a party. Erin, Carl, and I were the only ones who showed up. I felt so sorry for Lola. I could see that behind her thick-framed glasses, she was a lonely girl who needed some friends. We then saw that Lola had a bass, and she revealed that she played bass. She became...

Paul's Special Friend
I first met Erin through Allie. From the sad look in her eyes, I knew that Erin needed a friend. As we got to know each other, she opened up about losing her best friend, Barry. She said, "My poor excuse of a grandfather shot Barry. I offered to get help for him, but he wouldn't let me leave him. I guess he didn't want to die alone." I hugged her and said, "I'm sorry. I know what pain you're going through. I Nawawala my best friend, too. For the longest time, I blamed myself, because Alice and I were playing in the river. It was my insistence. I miss her sometimes, but I'm okay." Erin and I became really close as time passed. She was even passionate about music like I was. There was once when we got into a big argument, but our friendship was stronger, and we've remained best mga kaibigan ever since. One day, when we were in high school, we put our heads together, and we decided to start a band. Of course, the challenge was finding other members.

Paul Makes Friends
One day, I was walking down the hall, and I saw a girl lying on the floor. She was crying, and I could tell that she was hurt. Everyone else was just passing her by. I decided to help her. It was the right thing to do. I knelt down beside her and asked, "Are you okay?" She sinabi through tears, "No, I'm not! I got beat up! Why did this happen to me?" I said, "People can be cruel, but it'll be all right. I'm here to help." I helped her to her feet, and she began to limp. I took her to the school nurse, and her wounds were cleaned and patched up. As we left the nurse's office,...

Paul Moves West
I forgot to mention this earlier, but I was actually born close to the coast of North Carolina, not in Pine Grove, which is in the western part of the state. Anyway, my father got a job offer in Pine Grove, and he announced that we were moving. I was a bit nervous at first, but I knew that I would be bringing one friend with me, my dog, Yukon. I was twelve, going on thirteen at the time. I was eager to start at my new school. Unfortunately, I got beat up on the first day. When I got off the bus to go home, Mother saw me limping. "Paul!" she cried in horror. "What happened to...

Paul's New Friend
One morning, I went downstairs for breakfast, and my parents were waiting for me. Father said, "Paul, we have something to tell you." I asked, "What is it?" Mother said, "We thought you could use something to lift your spirits, so we decided to take you to get a puppy." I said, "Wow! My very own puppy! I can't wait!" Father said, "We found a Siberian Husky breeder. We're going over there tomorrow." I said, "Hooray!" That night, I went to kama early. I wanted to make sure I was well-rested to ensure that I would be ready to meet my new friend. I overheard my father said, "This...

Paul's Tragic Loss
One day, my friend, Alice, and I were playing sa pamamagitan ng the river at the end of town. At one point, she tapped me and said, "Tag! You're it!" She ran off laughing. I laughed, too. I shouted after her, "Not for long!" Alice attempted to tumawid the river sa pamamagitan ng jumping from rock to rock. She then slipped and fell in. I said, "Hold on, Alice!" I plunged in and tried to save her, but I got caught in the branches of a fallen tree. I tried to get free, but it was no use. I heard Alice's cries for help, and then there was silence. My neighbor at the time happened to be passing by. He helped...

Introduction
The members of The Devil Wants Peace and the members of New Religion met one araw just to hang out. Paul was doing what he does best, cracking jokes. Erin said, "Paul wasn't always the comedian he is today. He actually had a pretty tragic childhood before we met." John said, "Really?" Peter said, "A funny guy like Paul had a tragic childhood?" Stan was also in disbelief. Lola said, "Paul once told me that he though he was a loser before he met Erin." Carl said, "He told me the same." Paul said, "It's the truth." Allen said, "Tell us about it." Paul froze in shock. "Seriously?" he...

Hi, everyone! Peaceandlove67 or Antonia here. BingoPB made a listahan like this one, and I decided to make my own list. Here it goes.

1. Although I currently own sixteen necklaces, I do have my favorites. My personal favorites are the one with a picture of my dog, Diesel, that says "Fur Angel" on the back, my asexual pride necklace, and my birthstone necklace.

2. The only ring I own is my high school class ring. I very seldom wear it, but I do like looking at it. It has my birthstone for the gem. It has a peace sign on both sides, but on one side, it has the taon I graduated (2018), and on the other...

I gradually gained some madami friends, but Hillel and I remained the best of friends, even after we finished college. One day, while we were browsing a music store, we were talking about different artists. We talked about how the notes would be too high for us to sing on certain songs, so we agreed that we would change the key to hit those notes. The store owner had been listening to our conversation. He said, "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. What instrument do you guys play?" I said, "I play guitar." Hillel replied, "I also play guitar." The store owner said, "Well, I have a...

One day, I went to the river close to the college to take a picture of it for my mother. I promised her that the susunod time I came home, I would bring back a picture. I got too close to the edge and fell in. Normally, I am a pretty good swimmer, but the current was strong. I grabbed onto one of the rocks and tried to hold on. My hands began to slip off of the rock, and I knew then that I had no choice but to let the current take me wherever. I yelled for help as loudly as I could. At first, the only response was my echo. Then, I heard Hillel shout, "Letty!" I cried, "Hillel! Help me!" He found...

It was summer, and I was back at tahanan helping my parents with the farm. The summer was really fun, and I really enjoyed it. Hillel and I kept in touch throughout the summer. One day, when we talked over the phone, I said, "My parents sinabi it was okay with them. I wanted to ask you if you would like to share an apartment with me this year. I don't want to go through another bad roommate experience." He said, "I'd pag-ibig to! I'll go ask my parents if it's okay." There was silence for a long time. After a long time of silence, I heard Hillel's voice again. He said, "I'm back. They sinabi that since it was okay with your parents, it was okay with them." I said, "That's great." Toward the end of the summer, we moved into our apartment. I was glad that I didn't have to put up with a roommate listening to rap music and refusing to turn it down. I later learned that Hillel was a very valuable roommate. I never knew that one day, he would end up saving my life.

One day, as Hillel and I were walking around the campus to kill time, my roommate showed up with two guys who looked like thugs. My roommate said, "Oh, if it isn't Letty, the girl who hates rap music." I said, "It's okay if I can understand the words. That's why I like Red Hot Chili Peppers. When Anthony Kiedis raps, I can understand what he's saying." She said, "Let's get her, boys!" My roommate and the thug guys charged at me. They were ready to beat me. Hillel jumped in front of me and shouted, "If you want to beat her up, you'll have to get through me!" They began beating on him. I cried,...

This is what a Canaan Dog looks like.
As the months passed, Hillel and I were becoming very close. As we approached our pasko break, (or winter break in Hillel's case), we agreed to keep in touch. I was looking pasulong to seeing my dog, Rufus. Rufus was a big dog, a King Shepherd. King Shepherds look like German Shepherds, but they're larger and have better hips. He had been my companion since I was in third grade. He had what I referred to as "bear paws". When I made it home, I called for Rufus. He didn't come. I called for him again. He still didn't come. I thought that something must be wrong. Rufus always came when called....

Hillel slid down the rail to make his way to me. He knelt down beside me and asked, "Letty, are you all right?" I said, "I think so." I was struggling to get up. He said, "Let me help you." He helped me up. I began to limp a little. He said, "You're hurt." I said, "I'm okay." He said, "But you're bleeding." I looked down and saw blood streaming down my leg. I felt physically sick at the sight of it. Blood has never been my paborito sight. Hillel...

I said, "I don't mind." He sat beside me. Once everyone arrived and was seated, the professor explained what would be covered in the class. He then said, "You may talk for the time we have left." It was August. As I was driving to the campus of the college of my choice, I reflected on my high school experience. It wasn't a great one. I sometimes had a feeling of "I have a lot of friends, but is anyone there?" I had a lot of acquaintances, but I never really had any true friends. They never understood my interest in the liberal arts, particularly in the humanities, which of course, included music. I was unfortunately bullied a lot, and sa pamamagitan ng a lot, I mean A LOT. None of my so-called "friends" ever defended me. I sometimes found it ironic that my name is Letty, which literally means "joy",...
