The girls made it to their senior prom, and Charles/’A’ showed up uninvited. On the Aug. 4 episode, ‘A’ finally showed his face to Alison! Talk about a mic drop moment!

There’s only one episode left until the midseason finale of

, which means we’re so close to finding out the identity of Charles/”A.” The Aug. 4 episode was one 

lead-in. The girls started planning their futures beyond high school, the moms got drunk and learned just what “A” can do, drama went down at prom and Charles/”A” revealed his face to Alison (Sasha Pieterse)!

they were banned from prom and commencement. Spencer (

Troian Bellisario) was the valedictorian and now she wouldn’t be able to make her big speech. They decided instead to hold their own prom in Spencer’s barn. Oh, how things come full circle with that barn.

Alison got a text from Charles saying that she better be at prom. “It’s our last chance to dance alone,” the text said. Oh, goodness. Alison, don’t do it! Later, she got a creepy call from a blocked number and heard a mysterious noise in the woods. Well, it’s not like she had a hot policeman boyfriend to help her out. Lorenzo (Travis Winfrey) was still furious with her for stealing that key card. Spencer tried to talk to him and explain it wasn’t her fault. He was starting to believe the talk about Alison, how she was a master manipulator. Spencer stressed that she’d changed and needed Lorenzo. He wasn’t ready to forgive her yet. Spencer invited him to the girls’ prom just in case he changed his mind.

Aria (Lucy Hale) won first prize in the photography contest, which meant she got money and an internship in LA. Guess we know where Aria will be during the time jump! She was a little unsure about it all, since she’d be leaving her friends behind and be all 

. In regards to prom, Ezra (Ian Harding) made us all swoon when he said, “If you want me there, I’ll be there.” #EZRIALIVES.

Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) said he was going to visit his dad, but the whole thing sounded fishy. He was bringing his heavy duty computer with him. Hanna (Ashley Benson) thought he was going all vigilante to find Charles/”A” all on his own. She was not pleased.

Emily (Shay Mitchell) asked Sara (Dre Davis) to prom, but she already had plans. Toby (Keegan Allen) was suspended from the police force after the whole stoned situation. Basically, everything was in the dumps, and the last thing they were thinking of was prom. Ashley tried to stress to Emily that prom was a once in a lifetime event, and they needed to experience it.

Awkward Moments, Rogue Moms & PROM!

The moms were all standing guard at Spencer’s house while they held their “prom.” They started pouring the wine right away. This should be fun. Alison put on a smile for the moms as she headed toward the barn, but she ran off into the woods and “A”/Charles followed her! The girls looked SUPER HOT in their dresses, like sexy Disney characters. Alison was Belle, Aria was Snow White and Emily looked like Maleficent. As they were snapping photos, Aria saw a text Ezra got about his flight to LA.

Alison went to the real prom, and the girls found out about it 

fast because, you know, social media. Lucas, Noel and Jenna were there too. The girls headed straight to the real prom, while the moms were getting wasted outside. Clark was at prom to shoot photos, which was kind of weird. The girls immediately went searching for Alison and Charles/”A.” Spencer spotted her right away and confronted her. Alison told her that being there would scare him away. Sara also showed up. #FISHY.

Meanwhile, the moms were getting even more drunk and thinking about the past. They ended up at the DiLaurentis house, and the door was wide open. They found an evidence envelope with that picture of Charles, Jason, Mrs. D and Alison at the barn. Then, RHYS showed up. God, he is Jason’s doppelganger! He was looking for Mr. D. Apparently, he was working for the group that tried to give Hanna the scholarship. He just had shady written all over him. He left, and Piper dropped this bombshell, “I think we just met Charles.” Dun, dun, dun. Because they obviously didn’t know that they weren’t supposed to go everywhere together, they 

But let’s get back to prom. Caleb surprised Hanna and looked oh so fine. He said he did go visit his dad after all. He also admitted that he got a job that would pay for both Hanna’s tuition and a place for them to live. He wanted to take her away from all the drama and start a new life. Can I have a Caleb, please? All the couples shared a sweet dance together — Hanna and Caleb, Spencer and Toby, Ezra and Aria, Sara and Emily. Aria just had to be a b*tch and say she didn’t want Ezra to follow her to LA. But he wasn’t following her. He was going to Thailand for the summer with Nicole. What an awkward moment.

While Sara and Emily dancing, Sara’s shadiness level reached an all-time high. “No matter what happens, you mean a lot to me,” she said. Ugh, she’s got to be connected to Charles/”A,” and she’s going to break Emily’s heart.

During their dance, the girls lost sight of Alison. She saw someone in a red cape and followed. Clark, who had a gun, followed her as well. He was actually an undercover cop all this time. Aria was 

. In the midst of this jaw-dropping discovery, they all lost Alison. She got a text, and Charles/”A” pulled her away. She started screaming and tried to run away. “A” showed up in his signature all-black outfit. She wanted to talk to him and likely plead for her life. That’s when he pulled off the mask.

WHAT?! I have to wait a whole week to find out “A’s” identity?! It’s obviously someone we all know because of Alison’s reaction. I have so much anxiety right now. I. Need. To. Know.
