Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, one, remain at the family\'s base in Victoria with their nanny

The Duchess of Cambridge upped the style stakes yesterday in a dazzling bottle green dress from Dolce & Gabbana.
Kate wore the £2,000 frock as she joined Prince William in Kelowna, British Columbia, on the fourth day of their week-long tour of Canada.
Yet it was William who managed to turn the most heads. The Prince was at the centre of attention when he held court with a gaggle of excitable women\'s volleyball players after watching a match at the local university.
The duke and duchess greeted crowds of well-wishers on the campus before being whisked off to sample local delicacies at a food festival at a world-renowned winery.
The couple are the first royals to visit the city since Prince Charles and Princess Diana 30 years ago.
Later they will fly to Whitehorse in the Yukon, where they will stay the night.
Prince George, three, and 16-month-old Princess Charlotte are with their nanny in Victoria, where the family are based during the tour.

As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive in Kelowna on day four of the Royal tour of Canada, we were once again impressed by Kate's impeccable dress sense.
The couple are there to unveil a plaque to mark the 10 year anniversary of the University of British Columbia Okanagan and they'd both chosen smart ensembles.
Kate opted for a green dress, a hue we rarely see her wear, the last time being in a Catherine Walker coat dress at the Chelsea Flower Show back in May. We're not sure why though when she wears the color so well!
This Dolce & Gabbana pick is a custom version of the pocket watch dress that made up part of the fairytale-inspired autumn/winter 2016 collection. We would've been a little surprised if Kate had donned it with the applique, as the quirky piece doesn't seem very her. This simpler adaption with gold buttons however is perfect for a princess who is partial to a classic piece.
If you want to nab the fab original dress though (we love it!), click right to snap it up now at MATCHESFASHION.COM. Or check out plainer options in the line up below.

William and Kate, who pair her dress with nude LK Bennett heels, were greeted by more than 1,000 cheering students and well-wishers as they met BC premier Christy Clark and UBC Chancellor Mr Lindsay Gordon.
Mr Gordon welcomed the couple to the campus and to the country, adding: \'A particularly warm welcome to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who we hope are enjoying their first visit to Canada.

As they walked in, the announcer said: \'Please welcome, all the way from the UK, standing at 6ft 3in and 5ft 9in – or 5ft 11in including high heels, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!\'
After watching some of the action, the couple met players, including Paralympic sitting volleyball player Jennifer Oakes, 18, who lost a leg in a boating accident in Alberta last year and took part in the Rio 2016 Games.
After the game the couple received matching personalised jerseys with \'Cambridge\' emblazoned on the back. They were also handed UBC teddy bears for George and Charlotte.
However the visit was marred by controversy. The couple were apparently snubbed by a prominent First Nations leader who had been due to take part in Tuesday\'s engagements.
Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, Okanagan Nation Alliance Chairman and Spokesperson, had been due to join the royal couple on stage at the university\'s 10th anniversary celebrations but pulled out this morning.

A spokesman for UBC could not comment on why he had pulled out. He was replaced in the welcome line up by Chief Jonathan Kruger from the local Penticton Indian Band.
It came hours after Grand Chief Phillip refused to attend an historic reconciliation ceremony with William and Kate at Government House in Victoria.
The couple were this afternoon whisked to the BC Government\'s \'Taste of British Columbia\' festival at Mission Hill Winery, sampling some of the region\'s wine and food.
They tasted one of the most unusual-looking delicacies in Canada- and tactfully pronounced it delicious. The couple tucked into the unmistakably phallic \'geoduck\', a giant clam with a long neck.
As the couple toured a food and wine festival in the idyllic setting of a hilltop winery in the Okanagan valley, they initially appeared as if there was no chance of any geoduck passing their lips.
William and Kate looked in good spirits as they waved to crowds at the University of British Columbia in Kelowna

\'Presentationally they are quite challenging,\' said William. But chef Ned Bell told them: \'They are getting more popular all the time.\'
A few stands later at the Taste of BC festival at the Mission Hill winery, they came across some geoduck prepared by Japanese chef Hidekazu Tojo - and could not resist
However it was unrecognisable from the raw version on Mr Bell’s stand, having been transformed into thinly sliced BC wild geoduck sashimi, garnished with a Miso Mustard Sauce.
\'There is a slightly firmer texture to this,\' said the duchess. \'It’s really unusual. I\'ve never seen it before. It\'s so fresh from the sea.\'
Mr Bell said: \'It is an extraordinary species. You can eat the body, but you can also eat the neck raw, which is what they ate.

After a day of wet and windy weather on Monday, the couple enjoyed some sunshine as they strolled through the university
Some 1,000 students and members of the public turned out to greet the couple as they arrived on the university campus
\'It is absolutely phallic, but at end of the day it is a clam. Here on the west coast we have some of the best wild, well-managed shellfish in the world.\'
Their tour saw them taste an array dishes from some of Canada’s most celebrated chefs.
They included Mr Bell’s Cured North Coast BC Wild Sockeye Salmon Tataki With Miso, Maple and BC Grown Radishes, and Chef Rob Feenie’s Braised Cache Creek oxtail and caramelized onion ravioli with Hazelmere farms celeriac puree, port wine jus, shaved parmesan and extra virgin olive oil.
From Chef Vikram Vij they ate Maharaja Style Coconut Curried BC Vegetable Curry With Basmati Rice and Wine marinated BC lamb popsicle. Asked if she liked cooking, Kate replied \'Yes, especially curries.\'
William said: \'This is amazing. It\'s the right level of spice for me. I\'m very glad you did not surprise us with a vindaloo. I can\'t manage that - it\'s too much for me.\'
William also tried a Laird of Fintry single malt whisky, which William pronounced \'delicious\'. He said : \'You can tell the Scottish element - there\'s a peatiness to it.\'
Kate turned down the whisky, but tried their cassis - a blackcurrant liqueur - instead, which she said was “like sloe gin\'.
Earlier the couple, wearing almost identical Raybans, tried their hand cutting pinot noir grapes from the vines.
Later they will fly to Whitehorse in the Yukon, where they will stay the night - away from their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte , who will remain in their base of Victoria - for two days of engagements.
The couple are almost mid-way through their eight-day tour of Canada on behalf of the Queen.
