Should I give up on drawing?

nah dude ur drawing's cute as fuck, besides, i know a lot of young artists (myself included) start out drawing in the anime style before branching out and changing their technique.
and if ur worried about people thinking you're copying kazue then the best way to develop ur own style is to look at other artists that you admire, try out their techniques, and keep drawing until you find a style that's all your own!

No. Stop whining about how you suck and just go and practice until you get better. For crying out loud. If everybody gave up when they thought they were useless then the world would be devoid of human life (that doesn't include Hitler - he didn't give up and he wasn't useless).

You're better than me lol. If it's something you enjoy, keep it up. Just don't make a chore of it do it because you want to not because you feel like you have to.

I don't think you should give up! I think you're pretty good, you just need to keep practicing to get better and better. And who cares if your drawings look similar to someone else's art style? Lots of people have similar art styles. It's not a crime or anything! As long as you enjoy drawing and you're content with your art you shouldn't care what other people say about it. And if you feel like your drawings look just like all other anime or whatever you should try to experiment. Try different art styles that are madami realistic!~

Oh brother! Just because I sinabi I don't care for the anime style you're going to this big extreme! Talk about overly dramatic! If you can't take criticism then that's probably a good idea! It doesn't matter if your art is good or not because there will always be someone who won't like your work because you can't please everyone. I don't like the anime style but a lot of people do, despite that they all basically look the same. If you wanna be an artist and draw, you need to grow the hell up and learn to take the criticisms people have. If you're going to throw a tantrum over someone not liking something, you probably should give up on your dream because that's how life works. Everyone is going to be criticized all their life no matter what they do and you have to learn to deal with it. If you pag-ibig what you do, keep doing it and trying to get better! No artist in history didn't get inspired sa pamamagitan ng someone else's style! Just know that not everyone is going to like the same thing and you can either take it with maturity or just give up because one person sinabi they didn't care for the anime drawing style.

I'll ipakita you a drawing I did at 14 compared to a drawing I did at 21, left and right. I thought I should have ibingiay up at 14 but I'm glad I kept drawing.

Something to help you develop your skill is surround yourself with people or artists online who are very good. Competition kickstarts improvement.

I don't think so. Your drawings are pretty good even it's anime. You'll get better as you keep up with it. I wouldn't give it up when you have a gift of art. One time I got paid sa pamamagitan ng a couple of drawings, I did for my mother's mga kaibigan several years ago. I was good then but I draw much better now. I agree, most anime look the same. There's only very subtle differences. Compared to a lot of western cartoons, they can vary a lot more. Some are definitely unique, like Crayon Shin-Chan.
Although, idk what that has to do with anything. A lot of the stuff I draw look the same because it's my art style. Ripping off Kazue Kato's art style doesn't make you failure. In order to get better at drawing, you gotta copy drawing nature and stuff like that. You can't expect to get better without being inspired sa pamamagitan ng other people. Lots of great artists are inspired sa pamamagitan ng other great artists.
I can't tell you if you should give up or not. That's something you gotta decide for yourself. But, for me, I wouldn't give up because someone sinabi my drawing suck or whatever. Just gotta filter that stuff. Take in critiques, bad or good, that helps your artwork.

If my two cents are worth any value, then please, do not give up on a hobby that you are interested in. Drown out others' negative comments and let the passion unleash.

With a little bit of practice, your drawing skills can be molded into perfection. It saddens me deeply to see someone giving up their talents without letting them bloom... ='(

You shouldn't give up. All Artists need to start from somewhere and you are at a good point. I like that one. You have your sources of Inspiration as well as Motivation. There is no need to care about what other people will think if you are doing something you enjoy. Instead of stopping, seek ways to improve yourself. Practice makes better. It doesn't really matter how fast you make progress as long as you are focused on your goal. Art has no limitations nor time limits. Also about the Anime style. Just do a little research if you are truly interested and I'm sure you will be surprised !!!!

Never give up on drawing

I know it can get hard & all but part of progressing as an artist is coming to terms w/ what needs help and improving those aspects. Even if it seems like there's no improvement atm as long as you try each araw the effort starts to show,, i"m speaking from personal experience here.

Anyway my point is that the choice whether to keep going or not is personal but the madami effort you put despite how small it may seem is never in vain
