QotD 40: What character tropes do you tend to like/dislike?

Of the ones that I like, I've always like villains that turned good later on.

On the other hand, I usually get annoyed with happy-go-lucky characters.

And I generally like the vast majority of tropes beside the first one but I do like devil may care characters who have an angsty side.

IE: Homura from Senran Kagura.

As for what I like, villains who have a goal that is just as morally just, if not madami so, than that of the heroes, flipping the whole thing around. A perfect example would be any of the NeiR games

I always like the underdog trope, I even sometimes like them better when they lose as it shows that they are only human and their outcomes may be unpredictable like ours. It makes them worth rooting for.

I also dislike the dumb blonde unless he or she is a really good comedy relief, like really good.
