I think that there are a number of componants to considere when talking about what makes a character truly evil. For me it's about awareness and how the person is raised. As well as empathy and age.

By awareness I mean; a truly evil character is in full control (no mental instabilities). They know completely how wrong the action is and do it anyhow. In other words motivation is a huge component too; a character that firmly believes that he or she is doing the right thing isn't truly pure evil. Because this person really thinks that he/she is in the right....

Kirby, who was flying in his Warp bituin for the reason of feeling the breeze through his light, kulay-rosas skin. Normally, he'd use the Warp bituin as a mode of transportation, but today was the day.

Almost all of them are grim and depressing, and when you do the "right" thing, you often end up making people's lives worse. You give Jenny some medicine but she doesn't go with you to town, is left wondering around forever. The guy who you helped make his flying mechine only ends up dying. And Sam slowly loses his mind in his journey to California.
