No, because he knew what a huge danger it was to have the baby around. If you had a child, you would want what's best for them. Even though Max has his downfall, I'm glad he was smart enough to choose a path that was good for his son.

My reason isn't so much of him being a distraction. It's just that I'm suspicious of Tess. She has lied before, so I'm skeptical about her saying that the baby was fully human. I'm just wondering what would happen if the baby was actually part alien and showed alien-like powers to its human family. If he was an alien, though, I suppose he might have a way of contacting his dad through flashes or whatever. It might have been for the best to give up the baby, but I guess we will never know because the network CANCELED THEIR SHOW >:( :'(

No, he was right. That baby couldn't grow up like that, it wouldn't have been fair to him. It was right he let him go. Not distraction, but all around it's better for that child to grow up in a more stable enviroment that doesn't threaten his life.

Zan deserved to grow up in a stable home, not have to run from the FBI with his dad and stepmom the rest of his life. Max made the right decision.

No, but not because it would cause a distraction. Max and the gang were already in very deep trouble once Max found his son. Raising a child while they were on the run really wouldn't have been possible for them. It would have only put his son in danger. Being on the run from the government his entire life wouldn't have been a happy life for Zan. Max did the right thing.
