If you have been a part of the Office Survival Game at all the past week or so you've probably noticed that many people are cheering for Toby. I didn't get it at first. Sure I like him, and I feel bad for him a lot of the time on the ipakita but would I say he's my paborito character? No.

However, I decided that I would give Toby a chance and look at why people might like him as much as they do. I watched some Toby video clips and watched some of the episodes he has big parts in and I began to understand why Toby has gained such a following.

He's the underdog! He's not the funniest on the show. Michael's awkward comments and Dwight's insane view of reality blow his comedy away. I'm a man but I can say that Toby is not the most attractive of the guys on the show. Jim was obviously cast as the good looking guy and I don't think anyone can argue Kevin's good looks (kidding, unless you like that). Toby doesn't get the girl, people forget he's there, he sits back in the corner. He's the underdog and that's why people pag-ibig him.

So, I have a new respect for Toby and his followers. That doesn't make him my new paborito and I doubt he will ever be. However, I will never again look down on anyone who casts a vote for Toby or claims that he's their favorite.

Toby, forgive me!
