Plus we are finally done with "let's save Elena" action for the 100th time,which I was pretty sick of. I really don't think there will be the cure for vampires, the writers won't be so stupid. As a human there was so many things that she didin't understand, yet she always wanted to call the shots, so many people died or suffered because of her bad decisions. Now she is stronger and in position to make more advised choices.
