It’s Christmastime in Mystic Falls, and Caroline’s expecting! Our favorite blonde vamp is pregnant, and these new

Christmas pics showcase Caroline’s little baby bump. But Caroline doesn’t look too happy.

The holiday episode is titled “Cold As Ice,” and everyone looks like they’re on edge. Caroline’s trying to get into the holiday spirit, but it’s just not happening. I mean, she’s pregnant with her former teacher’s babies. However, we can’t take our eyes off her baby bump!

We’re not exactly sure if she’s going to go through a Bella Swan-type of thing and her pregnancy will be a rapid process. It can’t be easy being pregnant when you’re a vampire or living in Mystic Falls! This was the perfect way to handle Candice King’s real-life pregnancy. No one likes your fave characters hiding behind lamps for an entire season!

As we all know, Caroline and Alaric — her baby daddy — are engaged in the flash-forward. And their little girls are adorable. (They’re technically Jo’s, but still.) Yes, that means Steroline is not a thing in the future. But don’t give up just yet. “In an upcoming flash-forward, we’ll see that perhaps everything isn’t perfect between the couple, so there might be hope for Steroline yet,”
