I really like the different mythologies concerning Bampira from Brom Staker's Dracula's mytho.
Buffy/Angel versions of Bampira the concepts of one's soul, good vs evil, humanity and morality, no rules: like they dont have to worry about cash if they want it they take it and how spike had to learn this in s4 onwards.
Cirque Du Freak vampires: that was new, well for me anyways when i first read it lolz. (similar but different to the Moonlight vampires: as some can walk in daylight but it still can kill them over time)
Underworld: i totally pag-ibig it! How its a virus not a curse like other vampire mythos, ages old war between vampires-werewolves totally cool! pag-ibig IT!!
Twiligh: meh, they just get sparkles stuck in their eye! Vampire wannabees, vamps dont sparkle...
I think Bampira are dead. Kuput. But with dark mystical or virus making them vampires: how to become a vampire? they bite you suck your blood and you feed off them, though in sa ilalim ng daigdig all i did see all what it takes to infect someone is to bite them and the virus-vampire strain (or werewolf) works it way through your system you either become a vampire/or werewolf (depending on what species bit you) or you die. (ok sounds like twilights way of turning a human-to-vampire.
Pretty much everything else except for the sparkling Bampira and total invurability thats with little or no weaknesses thats seems unrealistic to me.

CIRQUE DU FREAK <3, The books not the movie, Umm....and my least fav would be twilight. uughgh If those are even vampires, there mor elike retarded faries I HATE TWILIGHT!!

Umm right know its The Vampire Diaries, Then The Twilight Saga New Moon (I pag-ibig the books but the books don't ipakita the lobo pack with know shirts) Umm...The Night World series there mostly Bampira but there also mga asong lobo and witches but most is vampires.
My absolute paborito books right now that involve Bampira are: The Vampire Diaries sa pamamagitan ng L.J Smith Vampire Kisses Series sa pamamagitan ng Ellen Schreiber Night World sa pamamagitan ng L.J Smith (I've only read the 1st volume...) House of Night Series sa pamamagitan ng P.C and Kristen Cast I have started pagbaba Cirque de Freak, but i'm still waiting for the rest of the books...
My paborito TV/Movie stuff that involve vamps are: The Vampire diaries show True Blood Cirque de Freak: The Bampira Assistant Any other good ones?
My first vampire book pag-ibig was twilight, but when I read/watched all the stuff listed above I realised it wasn't as good as I thought it was...and then the movie was totally messed up, but i'm hoping the segundo one will be better =D
Any other suggestions? I'm running out of series to read? :P

lol Yeah the Cirque Du Freak series is so good. what book are you on. Compared to the books the movie was awful, but still one of my fav movies. go figure XD

I hated it too, I know if I never read the books I woulndt of hated so badly. XD also I read each of the books in 3 hours just about. I loved them wwaayy to much. <3

I always thought the history on Prince Vlad was interesting. I guess because he was a real person that inspired vampires. I also like how (some) authors/film makers add a unique twist to Bampira or modernize them (Lost Boys, The Little Vampire, movie like that).
