Jed was running. Running from a dark figure a few feet behind. "You will never escape!", the dark figure from behind yelled. "yes I will", he thought. He ran and ran, until he reached the dark grey building in the middle of the field. He ran inside and slammed the iron door shut. A few bangs came from the other side, but they subsided quickly. He ran down the hidden staircase that was under a malaking kahon in the small shack. He reached the bottom, and passed through the small passageway until he came to another door. He opened and entered the dimly lit room. Five other people were sitting around some pagkain rations, eating slowly. When they saw him, they all jumped up and began asking him questions. "Did you get it? Did you get the package?", a man asked. "Yes.", he said, setting down the brown sack he had been carrying. "Good. We may now have a chance at rebellion. You did good. Now, sit down and have some pagkain rations. Janice found some extra rations in a warehouse, so we can eat a little bit madami today.", the man said. The pale, skinny woman called Janice flashed him a quick smile, then went back to eating her bread-and-honey sandwich. "How did we get this way?", he asked. "I heard this planet used to be a beautiful place. Now it's run sa pamamagitan ng those, those monsters.", he said. He tried to think back to what his mother sinabi to him, when she was still alive. "This world used to be nice, with nice people living on it. We used to not be enslaved, we used to be free to do what we wanted, what we liked to do.", his memory-mother said. " There used to be birds, and cats, and dogs, and all kinds of animals. But now, there's only us, and them.", he remembered she said.

One lonely sunday afternoon
I sit in my chamber and have nothing to do
My pag-ibig is far away
I wonder if (s)he's already forgotten me
So I sadly watch the sky
See the raindrops passing by
One looonely sunday afternooon...
One looonely sunday afternoon
One lonely sunday afternoon
I'm even as my bulaklak still out of bloom
I find some old photos, covered with dust
I cannot forget you although I know that I must
So I sadly let them fly
And this time I have to cry
One looonely sunday afternooon...
One looonely sunday afternoon

you seek for spark of hope.
Your life held by
darkness thoughts,
anchor is
some place else.
Bad luck follows you
like a hook,
won't let you go,
won't leave you alone.
You smile today,
and cry whole eternity,
like that's your fate,
disturbing thoughts
to lie inside of you,
to take away everything
that you hope for.
Devil is calling your name,
leaves you not,
you don't see the angel on
your shoulder,
trying to give you a strength.
You long for life
that you don't know of,
you seek for peace,
trying to get away
from misty forest
that stains your heart
into black.
