It's the greatest background movie for the holiday. I actually watched at one point with 2 people who had never heard of it! They laughed their Bumpesses off!

I watched it on DVD first (including the bonus DVD with the quizzes) and then watched at least 5 more times on the marathon. Absolutely hilarious...and yes, each time Ralphie opened his BB gun, watching his father giggle in delight, I shed a tear :')
