I don't think there's a big difernce in acting quality really. There are some great TV actresses and some terrible ones, and there are some great movie actresses and some terrible ones.

A lot of my favourites are in movies, but I think in a (good) TV show you have more of a chance to show off your range, because you get to play a role for longer and really delve deeply into the character in a way there simply isn't time to do in movies.
The fact that there seem to be more poor actresses in TV probably has more to do with the fact that there are more known bad shows than bad movies because a bad movie is often forgotten and unheard of but you encounted bad shows every time you turn on the TV, so you're more likely to be familiar with a bad show. If you only count good shows and good movies I'd say the skill level's fairly even :)

I get obsessed with movie actresses easier.

all my favorite actresses are tv actresses (kristen bell, erica durance, jennifer garner, hilarie burton...etc) BUT they have all been in movies as well, i just know them from tv. and my other fav actress is angelina jolie. and i dont think you can base talent on whether or not they are on tv or in movies! different movies can show different levels of skill in acting same as with tv!

Of course there are some talented TV actresses, but the specific actresses who I think are the best are from films.

I think it depends on who you are talking about really but it really really comes down to opinion cause everyone has a different one
