I think the MerDer relationship is the only pairing on television that doesn't need fanfic or fanvid to make 'obvious'. not sure if thats a bad or good thing but i've gotten used to them on grey and i think they're very sweet... but i never hated addison. *love kate walsh* it was actually kind of hilarious at the end of season 1 where addie made her first appearance and seemed kind of 'bitchy' at first. 'so you're the girl that's been sleeping with my husband'.. i loved her then & there though I was *shocked* that Derek has a wife. =P

The first time she arrived, I found it really sad for Meredith because she used to be my favorite character, so I didin't like Addie, but when she and Derek got divorced, I started to like her and since she's doing Private Practice, I love her!!! She's so amazing!!!
