How should I do this?

I want to create a "Geek Club" where people can go to hang out with people who share similar interest but I have no clue about where to start.

Should I try to find a few people to start with? Should I try to find a place to be? Do I need money for this?

Any payo would be apreciated.

Always check if the club already exists or not. If it doesn't, then you simply make it and mag-anunsiyo it.

Then invite your mga kaibigan and tell them to invite people. Plan where the hangouts are and activities.

Once you've hired out a hall or something, start advertising it online (because you don't want strangers knowing your address!!) & if things continue to go well, then talk to some professionals about possibly making it into a real business (people pay for membership); seek help if that's what you want to do.
