10 Ways to Annoy Jasper Hale:

9. Inform him that he seems to be the “depressed” Cullen.

8. Go up to him, look him in the eye and ask if he is hungry.

7. Spell his name with two “a”’s (Jaspar) and call him Jaspar Cullen. When he objects, saying his name is Jasper Hale, wave your hand at him and tell him all that blood must have gone to his brain.

6. Tell him only girls feel emotions. Then giggle and run away.

5. Dress up in a cape and fangs and leap out in front of him when he is least expecting it, proclaiming you have come to suck his blood.

It was cute when other people think of me as a little monster, ballerina, or pixie but when the term is used to insult me…. that’s another story.


Then it clicked. I think the problem was me but used in her terms. I am the enemy. I am his wife. Remembering what she sinabi just a few minutos nakaraan it clicked why she always wanted to see him, why she always called him, why he told her about the party over me, he didn’t do it intentionally but it happened. “I know Jasper is your husband but he is my friend. I pag-ibig him too.” That one mistake in the conversation and it clicked. She LOVED him....

I wasn’t going to let this happen, not to my sweet, innocent Alice. If she was in danger, so was I, so was our whole family.
“You guys can run,” Suggested Emmett.
“No, the Vultori has Alec; he can track anyone, anywhere, at any time.” That was the fifth idea Carlisle had dismissed. He didn’t want us to fight, move, go to Italy, and now he’s telling us running is out. What now?
“What else is there?”
“Maybe, if Edward and I leave.” “no, absolutely not” I cut her off. “There’s no way you’re going out there alone when someone is tracking you.”
“I won’t be alone...

"What am I going to do"? I asked Emmett.
"I don't know dude, you know Alice she doesn't like being protected".
Emmett was right, Alice wasn't the type to be the damsel in distress. I couldn't help it though. I was raised in the south in the time of the Civil war. I was taught to protect women. Maybe Alice was right; maybe I was living in the past. I didn't care though Alice was mine and I was going to keep her safe.
"Maybe you could buy her flowers, ooh or maybe a house!" Emmett suggested enthusiastically.
"I don't think that will make this right".
"Are we talking about the same Alice"?
Just then...

"How old are you?" Alice asked as she walked with Jasper out to the end of the pier.

"Eighteen." He answered, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Really? Well, I'm only fifteen, but I'll be sixteen at the end of October." She informed him, then began to skip. He stood still, halfway to the end of the long pier, and watched her, awed. He'd never met a girl like her before. She turned to look at him, also stopping, a few feet away.

"Well, come on!" she called back to him, then started skipping again.

Aw, what the hell. He thought, then followed her, laughing as he skipped. They sat down, side sa pamamagitan ng side,...
