chapter 1!
"quit that,alex..!"i called out !it was the perfect weekend and there he was,my wretched little twin,alex trying to wake me up sa pamamagitan ng using a vaccuum cleaner on my toes,yes,these kind of things happen to me everyday!well,you might be asking who i am,i'm oliba priston, a 13-year old , desperately trying to cop up with my life....until,i went there....the house that changed my life!!!deep breathe.....let me just say the story from the beginning,from when my life used to be normal........
"what, i'm just trying to wake you up ,sis!"alex said...."well then,be happy you suceeded!"i sinabi bouncing off the kama and making my way downstairs!i could very well hear my brother rolling with laughter!i groaned......and then there i went down to my mom's 'cooking' laboratory!my mom thinks she is an a world class chef........and my house always smells of baking.....because mom,is always tryin' out new foods and stuff and half the time,they are a mess!but,she still is the worlds best mom.......!
"whats up,mommy dear?"i asked hugging her from behind........
"i'm trying out a brand new recipie! smashed apples and igos on oat meal cookies!
"yum yum mom!"i sinabi ,but i was actually thinking.."eeeew..........gross!"i shrugged and made my way out of the kitchen,and back to my room,not before calling out a good morning to dad,who as always was pagbaba his newspaper,with intense curiosity!well,this was my family about a week nakaraan until,that house.........
i am going off the topic again,ain't i ?oh well,that's me,olive priston ,for you!now for the araw that changed my life!that wretched araw when alex ,had this stupid idea of 'exploring' the house............which we kids liked to call..'the dark mansion',it was in the neighborhood and we feared that there might be kidnapped children n monsters in the basement n homeless spirits and what not?well,let me give you the detailed version of how we,along with our mga kaibigan linda and harry (who we call crane,because of his long neck and thin body,and yes his eyes were like a crane's)ended up exploring that spooky thing,in the first place!
i,lin,crane and alex were having a little chat in the backyard,as usual...........
"hey guys ,did you here the story of the teenager who drowned in the pond at that dark mansion?"lin started the conversation i regretted about the most later!
"no what?"we all echoed leaning forward.......
"well,chirsten,was a very popular girl in high school!you know that littlebell highshcool lies right susunod to the dark mansion right?well,one araw christen and mga kaibigan were playing a game of throw ball when christen accidentally tossed the ball to the mansion,all the kids were cross,and they forced her into taking the ball!christen din't want everyone to think she was a chicken,so she sinabi ,"fine" and climbed over the pader and entered the backyard and saw the ball near a lake she took a step,then slowly leaned to to take the ball ,when suddenly slipped and fell into the pond!never to be seen again!"lin stopped...
a chill ran down my spine!but lin wasn;t done yet!
"then from the araw onwards,on every new moon they see inscriptions on the walls of the mansion that sinabi "i will have my revenge-C.N" and christens full name is actually christen nemson!from that araw on the christen curse started!every fort night each of the girls who forced christen to take the ball the last day,died due to unknown reasons!"lin stopped,i could see that kreyn was terrified!so was i!
but alex started laughing,"that's a bunch of baloney!"he sinabi "why let's go check the mansion out ourselves....he declared........"
the worst thing alex had sinabi his entire life.....!
