She wakes in total darkness. Her sense of smell is the first to return. She sniffs and detects the faint metallic odor of blood.
susunod she feels a square of a rough cloth stuck to her back, up between her shoulder blades. She shifts slightly and a lance of pain shoots down her back. She growls instinctively.
Her finely tuned ears pick up the sound of people talking in low voices. The only word that she can pick out of the jumble of voices is "wolf".
They must be talking about me, she thinks.
Foot steps precede the arrival of a human. The door opens and a short, stocky male stands silhouetted in the light.
She lunges at him, but comes up short when the previously unnoticed chain around her neck tightens like a choke chain.
"You stupid wolf," chuckles the human.

Although I had opened my mouth to shout something similar at her captors, it was not I who sinabi it.
My puso pounded in my throat as I slowly turned to see who had shouted. I thought I recognized the voice, but I was so terrified that I wasn't thinking right.
"Hold on one second," I sinabi to the phone and hastily muted it.
Standing behind me, looking vastly different from the sweet Omega that I knew, was Sweets.
Her eyes, usually warm, liquid pools of hazel, showed nothing but an icy cold fury. Her balahibo was standing up, and her teeth were bared. A low growl issued from deep in her throat. The pangkalahatang effect was madami terrifying than Scar had been when she had been furious about me sedating her.
At this moment, I was madami scared of what Sweets might do if she wasn't calmed than I was of what Eve could do on a daily basis when she was in a good mood. And that's saying something!
I motioned for Rich to come get her and he did, getting on his knees beside her to talk quietly into her ear.
I unmuted the phone call and apologized for the delay.
"Who was that?" the voice demanded.
"A friend," I sinabi evasively.
"A wolf."
"Yes."
"Keep her silenced or I will take out my frustration on your precious Scar," the voice threatened.
"At least let me talk to her! So that I know she's alright," I begged.
There was silence for a moment.
"Alright." I heard whoever I was talking to walking somewhere, heard the clatter of a lock being thrown, then the sudden rattle of a chain and a hoarse gasp. Scar.
"You stupid wolf," I head her captor say. ""Your worthless mate wants to talk to you."
The phone was set on the floor and I heard it get kicked across to her.
"Scar?" I said.
"Baby, I'm here," she said.
"Are you alright? Have they hurt you?" I asked, spitting out tanong almost faster than my mind could form them.
"I'm fine, but they cut out the tracker."
That explained why I couldn't find her.
"Anything else?"
"Babe, they're expecting-". She was cut off as someone did something to her that made her scream.
"Scar! What did you do to her!" I yelled at the phone, waving a hand behind me to forestall any other yells.
"She's merely been painfully stunned."
"I swear to God, as everyone in my house is my witness, I will find you, and I will kill you," I said, furious.
"Good luck with that!" The call disconnected.
