It had been five days since the death Shadow. Everything felt gloomy, during Jake and my work hours we felt the disseverance and the effect of Shadow's death. Crystal has been in her kama 24/7, Alyssa brought pagkain and cold drink for Crystal but she refused most of her offerings, she would just crawl in a ball and sniffle. Alyssa has been madami phobic about me and Jake working out in the on the house, or at less while we still have to put up the large wooden planks. But we promised Shadow, and we sure as hell won't give up. Even with the harsh conditions outside such as today, very hot, also there has been a larger amount of rattle snakes and enemy packs growing around this area. It seems like the Eastern Pack is our only mga kaibigan in this crazy mixed up world of ours. "Hey Jet" my attention turned from my work to Jake, "So what are you planning to do after we finish the house extension?". His tanong really made me think, what DO I do after all this?
I pondered a bit then I looked back at Jake, "I really don't know, Shadow did leave his truck to us, if you don't mind maybe me and Alyssa taking it if it comes down to that." I looked up at the trees as they shook with the gentle wind, and then I looked at the house, "But I really don't want to leave Crystal and you." Out of nowhere Kate came up to me and Jake, "Hey guys, heard about Shadow's death sorry about that." I felt a little warmth in my puso to know I still got three great friends, "Ya, it feels like shit around here." Me and Jake gave Kate a hug, "Our pack is very appreciative about the house extension and the help you guys are bringing us, thank you." "That's what we do." I let off a little sigh.
The three of us walked into the kusina to visit on Alyssa. "Kate!" she gave Kate a hug, "How are you?". "Very well thanks for asking." Alyssa and Kate sat down on the couches both with their cute morning sun dresses on. "Let me open up these curtains, get some light in here.". She walked to the curtains and opened up but the light of the sun was blocked sa pamamagitan ng gloomy grey clouds. Jake claimed his on sopa which left Kate to the recliner and Alyssa and I to the couch. "So..... What's been happening at your pack Kate?". "Huh... Oh nothing really just boring lately really..." Oh nothing really just boring lately really..." There was eerie quietness for a segundo but we were interrupted sa pamamagitan ng the ring of my phone. Verizon was actually pretty good for a madami deserted woodland area. The silence continued till Kate got up to get a glass of water. "Uh.... Well I think I should go check on Crystal." But there was no need to, Crystal came from the corridor to say her hellos.
"Hello everyone." She sinabi it with grief, Alyssa and I moved over to leave some room for Crystal. She sat down and leaned on Alyssa, she obviously still didn't feel well. "Crystal, Hun, you want something, pagkain or water, you must hungry after being malnourished these past few days." Alyssa making her way to the kitchen. "Eh....Ya I could probably use it right now, I've been feeling like shit the past few days." Crystal started falling ever so slightly on to my lap. I was going to bother her. After that Crystal got her pagkain from Alyssa, got up, and went back to her bedroom were she would peacefully fall back to sleep.
