Kims Haunted Past

    It was very early in the mourning when Kate was awaken from a terrifying nightmare. Kate rubbed her eyes and laid on her back starring at the ceiling of the den. “Man, thats the fourth time this week I've had the same nightmare,” She thought. “Why am I having these nightmares, what do they mean?” “Its the same thing every night?” “Maybe I just need some air to clear my head,” she thought. Without waking Midnight and Humphrey Kate stretched and gave out a yawn and walked out of her den. To her surprise sitting at the edge of the yungib was KIM. “Crazy Girl” She thought. “Why is she up so late I wonder?”
    KIM was staring out into the open, the sky was clear, with a nice cool breeze blowing through the trees and the stars sparkled like diamonds in the night sky. It was a beautiful night. Kate sat susunod to KIM “Nice night isn't it KIM?” KIM didn't say much but nod her head. “Yea...Why are you up so late Kate?” She asked. “Huh funny I was just about to ask you the same thing!” Kate sighed “I don't know, I haven't been able sleep lately, Ive been having some really wacky nightmares.” KIMs eyes widened, “Really like what?” she asked nervously. Kate couldn't really give her an answer. “OH, I don't know to be honest.” “In the nightmare I'm running as fast as can from a group of men with mga baril screaming and yelling at me?” “Don't let her get away!” “Eventually they capture me and then I wake up before anything else happens.” KIM was very silent. Kate nodded her head “So, yea thats what Ive been dreaming about for almost a week now.” “Its getting very annoying actually,” as she yawned. “Other than that, why are you up KIM?” KIM didn't say anything. “KIM whats wrong?” Kate asked. KIM lifted her head, “Kate I'm so sorry your going through this with me.” Kate was confused “What do you mean?” She asked. “Those weren't nightmares Kate, those were flashbacks.” “My flashbacks,” KIM sinabi sadly.
    Kate was very confused. “Wait what do you mean those are your flashbacks,” she asked. A small tear rolled down the side of KIMs cheek. “Kate,” she said. I'm sorry but I haven't been honest with you.” “Theres a lot of things you don't know about me and my past.” Kate sat and listened to KIMs story. “You see Kate I was never like this before, in fact I was alive many years ago. I was a lot like you and looked a lot like you actually. Young, strong willed, and had a lot to live for. I was the leader of the pack as a matter of fact. Many mga lobo looked up to me, for I was a good role model. So I was told. I was also known as the Guardian of Jasper Park. The reason why was because I was the only one who was bravo enough to chase hunters and poachers off this land. I made sure that my pack was ligtas from harm. Of course unfortunately it all caught up with me. The men I scared off would tell lies about me, and made me look like an enemy. Before you knew it everyone thought of me as a threat. Worried that this so called Rabid lobo would harm their families, and livestock. They all ganged up together and went hunting for me. They started to destroy everything in their path order to smoke me out. Killed the caribou, and started cutting down all the trees trying to find me. They were destroying Jasper Park.”
    “There was nothing I could do, I didn't have the powers I do now. There was no point of trying to stop them, cause I knew they would kill me eventually. I got everywolf together and got them to safety on the other side of the valley. When I knew they were all safe, I had to do one madami thing, and that was to make sure they stayed safe. Before I could say anything, everything went black, and I was gone.”

Generation after Generation I searched and searched but none were suitable for me. That is until you were born Kate. When I saw you I knew you were to one who could help me finish were I left off. For many years I lived with you, but you didn't know it yet. I was with you as pup and even through you alpha training. Keeping an eye on you, and watching you grow up.” Kate interrupted “WAIT a minute, you mean to tell me that you chose me?” “I thought that I was the 100th Alpha when I was born, the one who would be cursed with a monster?” KIM laughed “Ha Kate those where called theories and legends for a reason.” Kate became even madami confused “Then why were you so scary when we first met?” “It seemed like you were doing everything in your power to scare me.” KIM smiled “Well I guess I didn't want to ipakita you my true personality.” “You see after that event I was so screwed up in head.” “I didn't know to present my self to you.” “So I decided to become you inner monster, A being living deep inside you wanting to be free.” “The only time I showed you my true self was when you trusted me.” “That was the night I told you we both have something to protect!” Kate nodded “Yea I remember that night, found out I was pregnant with Midnight and made Humphrey faint.” “How can I forget.”

I think differently about you now.” “I cant believe everything you went through.” “I couldn't imagine doing that.” “Sacrificing yourself to save everyone else has to be one of the most selflessness things I have ever of any lobo doing.” “Yea, KIM sinabi sadly.” “ I wish I could see it your way.” “Kate I feel like abandoned everyone I cared about.” “I never knew what happened to any of them.” “I just up and walked away and never came back.” “My daughter seeing me, poor thing had that image in her mind for the rest of her life.” KIM started to cry. “How can I live with that?”
    Kate stood up and gave KIM a hug. “Well KIM this is all I have to say. You shouldn't be this hard on yourself. What you did was amazing, there was nothing else you could have done better. What you did saved Jasper Park and everything that lives here! Just look around you! All of this wouldn't be here if it was for your bravery to sacrifice your self to save the others. Not to mention what you have done for me. Lets face it you saved Humphrey, my sister Lilly, you have saved Midnight tons of times. Plus KIM you saved me. I don't care what any lobo says about you. A curse, A monster, the Guardian. What ever the case may be you will always be one greatest things that has happened to me.” “You will always be a hero my book!”
