Gerard is Takumi's older half-brother, a successful businessman who bears a resemblance to Usui, save the difference in their hair colour. He and Usui do not appear to be on good terms, possibly because Usui is an illegitimate child; however, he expresses an interest in Usui's activities in Hapon and arranges for his bodyguard Cedric to spy on his brother. His talents appear to be the polar opposite of Usui's, which includes being unskilled at cooking. Though he appears devious and calculating, he is strangely jovial and enjoys teasing Cedric, similar to how Usui makes fun of his acquaintances. It is hinted that Gerard is extremely sick with an unknown illness.
