I personally enjoy it in moderation for comedic purposes, but hardcore ecchi severely sexualizes women and is offensive in my opinion. I have no resentment towards people who do like it, but those who deny the sexism in ecchi bother me. There are many anime that sexualize men as well, but not nearly as many.

I personally tend to avoid ecchi like the plague but there is a couple I do really enjoy. Overall it's not something I'm into but people like what they like so I don't mind it. *shrugs*

It does nothing for me. Like I suppose I can tolerate it if it has a plot, but generally the sexual aspect of it tends to overpower the plot and I usually end up calling it quits. I don't mind fanservice every now and again but once it starts to overwhelm the plot, I'm out.

But like, if someone is into it, it's not my place to tell them not to like it. I try not to judge.

I agree. Not everybody who watches ecchi anime is sexist; there is a variety of other reasons one could enjoy ecchi. I just believe that the general creation of ecchi is a tad offensive.

I agree with Lusamine that ecchi is actually another way of sexism and offensive for women especially.
