Sharon sinabi her son Bryce is truly a miracle child. “He was in a coma for 30 days with no brain or puso activity when he was nine years old,” she said. Just as his parents had ibingiay up hope, Bryce came back to life. His precarious condition was caused sa pamamagitan ng type I diabetes with cerebral edema complications.
“His brain swelled and he needed a shunt,” sinabi Sharon.
Now 12, Bryce is completely insulin dependent, requiring an insulin pump, strict diet, and activity restrictions to prevent bruising to his brain.
