This is an AU fic for quite a few obvious reasons.

Azula’s fingers hovered over the stinging mark spreading up from her wrist to her elbow. She gently ran her finger over the tender red skin outlining it.

Part of her thought it was a bad idea to get the tattoo, but madami of her sinabi it was one of the best idea’s she had in a while. The blue and tial ink suited her well, at least she thought so anyhow. It only made sense for her to wear the blue flames proudly on her arm…

Much madami sense than it did to always be reminded of the scars they covered.

The blue flame tattoo wasn’t the first ink job she had done—and if honestly was worth anything, they probably wouldn’t be her last. A buwan prior she had gotten a mural of tiny jagged lines spanning from her ear to a little past the edge of right brow. The lines worked together to make an illusion of cracked skin…shattered like glass.

Broken.

Ozai hadn’t noticed it yet, she had taken to covering the ink with a new hairstyle or some type of expensive headwear. The man would add another scar to her collection if he ever noticed. To think, just a taon before she would have never though he’d hurt her.

In fact, she had assumed he’d be concerned…care for her after he found out about her breakdown.

That was why he had hurt her the first time.

For being weak.

And then another scar for losing control of herself.

She ran her hand over the jagged lines. Broken. Shattered. That’s what the tattoo was there for; to remind her that the mind beneath it was as cracked as the depiction. She decided that her third tattoo would simply be an extension of the first; madami zigzagging lines, this time of a hot white-blue.

A reminder that—despite her father’s thoughts—she was in fact stronger than the cracks in her head.

The princess decided, upon stroking the blue ink fire, that she’d be as tattooed and marked as life left her. She pulled out a piece of parchment. She’d make a list. The first thing on it was her lightning idea. The segundo a crown.

The crown will be cracked.

Following that…she’d come up with something.
A broken dagger? A dagger slipping into her back, seresa blossom petals bleeding from the opening. Something like that sounded good.

Azula folded the parchment and stuffed it into her boot. She had quite a araw ahead of her. She’d be seeing both of them—her father and her brother—for the first time in a while. She tucked her hair into place and slid her sleeve back down her arm.

She could no longer see the pretty blue ink, but the slight pulsing pain beneath the cloth assured her it wasn’t fading anytime soon. She had come to sort of enjoy the prickling feeling.

It was a kind of pain that eased pain.

Azula stepped up the stairs leading to the palace…her old house. She no longer cared to call it a home. Because it certainly wasn’t.

With each step came a new memory, none of which were particularly pleasant; being wheeled down that set of stairs bound for some institution and being tossed down them sa pamamagitan ng an angry Ozai among the memories. That was how he’d hurt her the first time.

The segundo time he’d bought a flame of his own to her arm was when she informed him that she had no interest in marriage, epically not to the douchebag from Ember Island he had picked out for her.
Chan was a better pick than that guy.

The third time was of a just because nature. Ozai was drunk. Zuko wasn’t home.

The man needed somewhere to place his anger.

That was the araw she decided she’d chance living out on her own. She felt like she’d have a better life expectancy living on the streets than with him.

And so she did. She had taken a job at that tattoo parlor, people paid her way madami than they should have to disensyo them some tatts and brand them with the ink. Azula’s co-worker (claiming she was one of the best artists she’d seen) awarded her sa pamamagitan ng giving her, her mga tattoo free of charge.

Zuko was the only one present when Azula found her upuan at the table. The two didn’t speak. Not even a single utterance as they waited for their father to sumali them. It wasn’t that there wasn’t anything to say, it’s just that there was too much, and neither of them knew how to start.

An oras dazed sa pamamagitan ng and Ozai made no appearance.

It didn’t matter, Zuko was the apoy Lord anyways, they simply invited Ozai to the meetings as an act of undeserved good will.

The problem lie in the fact that none of the other council members had made an appearance either.

Azula finally spoke up. “Did you forget to tell them about the meeting again Zu-Zu?” It had happened before—Zuko called a meeting, in his head anyways, but forgot to vocalize it. No one showed up of course, and everyone was shocked to get a long lecture from the apoy Lord.

“This time I called it! I swear.” Zuko put his hands up.

Azula did her best to suppress a grin. “What time did you set the meeting at?”

Zuko remained silent.

“You didn’t did you? You forgot to give them a time.” Azula didn’t even try to stop the laughter.

“You’re here.” Zuko pointed out.

“I live here, I’d have been here eventually regardless.”

“You’re in the meeting room.” He specified.

“That’s because you told me what time to arrive, I didn’t hear you tell anyone else.” At that is was like nothing had ever gone wrong between them.

They had those moments. The ones where they sort of pushed whatever harm—physical and metal—they had done to each other to the side and just snicker together. Those moments when they actually felt like siblings. Those moments where mending their relationship felt possible.

Perhaps this time was the right time.

“Have you been doing alright?” Zuko asked at last. “If you need to you can come back here.”

“I’ve got myself a place to stay. It’s nice enough I suppose. My co-worker, June, I’ve been staying with her.”

“You know June? The one with the shirshu…the one who’s good at tracking. That June?”

“Yeah, that’s the one.” Azula replied. Before she could get another word of her story out, Zuko filled her in on how he’d hired June to track down Aang. She supposed the story was worth the interruption.

Azula rolled up her sleeve. “It’s my newest one.” She stated and brushed her hair to the side.

“When did you get those?”

“A while ago, well the first one anyhow. The apoy is new.”

“I wish I had the guts to get something like that.” Zuko admitted.

“I can squeeze you in tomorrow if you’d like. But you’re going to have to hold back on your tears, June has this collection of stories about men she made cry while giving them tattoos.”

“She would.” Zuko rolled his eyes. “Perhaps I’ll look into it.”

“Wonderful. Now all you have to do is decide who you trust more, June or myself.”

“What do yours mean?”

Azula gave a half smile. “Perhaps you’ll get the answer one araw Zuko.”
BOOM! The thunder crackled loudly as lightning flashed across the charcoal-gray sky.

Katara went to kama early. But she didn't hear Aang's feet padding down the hallway to his room.

Wait a minute. Katara was sure she saw something in that last flash of lightning...and it sort of looked like...

"Aang?" Katara asked. "What on Earth are you doing here...and why are you shaking like a leaf?"

"I'm...afraid of storms," Aang confessed.

"Aang!" Katara cried. "Why didn't you tell me...or anyone else for that matter? You know that we're always here."

"That's exactly it!" Aang said. "I didn't want anyone else...

This is a warped version of the episode 'The Drill'. Note that I start the story near the end of the actual episode.

--------------------------------------------------

Azula picked Aang up and pinned him to the pader of Ba Sing Se. She grasp his should with her left hand, and with the other, produced a blue flame. Just as she was preparing to strike, Aang regained most of his consciousness.

His vision was blurred, but as it cleared, he could see, and feel the heat of the flame. He arched his fingers, and tried to grasp the wall, and preformed an Earthbending technique. Earth gathered and eclipsed...

This sa pamamagitan ng far was the most epic episode I have seen in the entire series. Starting with Aang and Zuko's firebending training, right down to the final scene with Katara and Aang(nearly cried, but was clapping). It even seemed that Sokka's jokes were funnier! In my opinion, the best battle was Azula and Zuko's. The best moment was definetly a tie between Prince Zuko being introduced as the apoy Lord and the Final scene with Katara and Aang(no spoiler). The most epic moment, definitvely was the scene when Aang was securing apoy Lord Ozai and taking his bending skill away. Strangely, it can't be the end! Zuko met up with his father at the end to ask him about his ,supposedly dead, mother's whereabouts.

It had been a long time since they'd done anything as a family for the holidays. Zuko glanced over at an old family pasko photo. It would be just he and his mom this year.

Katara, Aang and Sokka all had plans to go back to the water tribes and enjoy some good old fashioned snow. Who could blame them, what was pasko without snow?

A apoy Nation Christmas, he answered himself.

He couldn’t complain, couldn’t miss something that never was.

Toph...being the whimsical girl she was decided she was going to take her student metal benders out for some 'mandatory musical metalbending'...rather...

If I wasn't in the awatara state OR the spirit world then where was I? I questioned that over in my head. I was scared and afraid. Until I felt the soft warm sensation of someone's hand on my shoulder.

No one was there though. So who? I was on the verge of tears. I didn't understand this at all. I was scared, I was a horrible bender, and I was in a place that I don't recall going to. Being the awatara sucks.

I was confused so I lay down on the black dirt under my red converse and tried to think. I twirled a long strand of brown hair in my fingers and licked my lips.

Shining blue light. Thats exactly what hit my brain the moment I heard her unforgettable words. I was falling, falling into nothing of blue light. It was blinding. I wanted to push out a scream but no scared sound left my lips.

Suddenly, I landed on a hard mass of burnt rock. Around me it was warm, and that warmness wasn't very welcoming. I felt a sensation of something lurking around, like a cat pouncing on a mouse.

"Hello?" I wanted to yell out. But oddly that sound didn't come out either. I wanted to cry. Where was I? I thought I was in my backyard with May. I swear I was. Unless it was...

"Aang we need to go NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed pulling Aang's hand and running.

"Why do we need to go?" He asked while running along side me.

"Just Because!!"

"Huh?"

"That person behind us scaring the living bananas out of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And of course, Aang turned around. And there standing behind us was the girl. We waited for an anwser but none came. She still had her trench amerikana on but she had pulled off her hat. Black hair flowed down and lots of makeup designed her face.

"Who are you and why are you following us?" Aang said.

We waited for an answer but instead we got a strong jump of...

Okay so this is basically our time, but in the united states. What happened was that Katara actually kept a diary about her life and some historians found it on a small island close to Japan. The historians gave it to some movie directors, and they created the anime cartoon, awatara the last airbender, based off Katara's diary. Now its 2010 and there are still benders around, but they keep their powers a secret because of the Nickolodean cartoon show, and because if anyone found a bender, they would be put in Jail. This all means that there is a modern araw awatara as well. But all the modern...

Zuko stood up from his trono and approached the scared servant. He took the scroll from her hands and unrolled it. As he read it, noticed his eyes narrowing. After what felt like minutos the scroll burst into flames and the ashes fell to the floor.
"Zuko, what is it?" asked Katara standing up and walking to her friend, concerned.
Zuko ignored her and addressed a man a few seats down.
"Admiral Lee, get your men and ship ready to the Earth Kingdom. The Chikara Army has invaded the city of Gaoling."
"That's where Toph is!" exclaimed Sokka, horrified.
Zuko nodded and continued, "They've outnumbered...
