"Thank you, Yin." Firelord Zuko thanked her.
"Your welcome, apoy Lord." replied Yin and left the livingroom.
Zuko sipped some tsaa and glanced at Katara; she looked at the ground, with a sad look.
"It's him, isn't it?" asked Zuko.
"It's been eight years already." Katara sighed. "Everytime I think about it...it just makes me want to give up."
"Don't, Katara." reassured Zuko. "Don't give up, if you do, you'll leave every one you know and pag-ibig behind."
He glanced at the kids that were playing outside sa pamamagitan ng the garden; Katara followed his glance.
Kaya was playing with her friend, Iro, and her cousins, Miko and Suka. She was laughing while Miko told one of his corny jokes, while Suka kept thumping him on the head.

"Okay, here's a good one!" he announced. " 'Why did the chicken-pig crossed the road?' "
"To get to the other side." sinabi Suka with no enthusiasm.

"I don't know." Kaya finally answered. "It just connects to me, somehow."
Just then, Iro ran towards them with a big grin on his face.
"Hey guys," he began. "Wanna have some fun?"
"About time!" exclaimed Suka! "What are we doing?"
"We're going to my summer home!" explained Iro.
"Wait, isn't that on Ember Island?" asked Miko.
"My family used to own another one," answered Iro. "it's not far from here, but it's really old."

"It's been around since my great-grandfather's grandfather was alive!" explained Iro.
"Wow! That's really old!" exclamied Suka.
"What happned to it?" asked Miko.
"It got abandoned from time to time." answered Iro. "People used to say that it was haunted sa pamamagitan ng a ghost that used to live there before my great-grandfather's grandfather, and some people say it still does!"
"Sounds cool!" exclaimed Suka. "Maybe there's some stuff that we can learn!"
"Forget learning!" cried Miko. "This sounds adventerous!"
Iro turned to Kaya.
"I'll be with you if you get scared." sinabi Iro.

"When will we be going?" asked Suka.
"We'll be leaving at sun down." answered Iro.

There was a short pause.
"Cool!" Miko finally spoke.
"Enough chit-chat! Let's go!" hissed Suka.
Soon, the kids left the palace and headed towards the abandonded summer home.
As they got closer to it, Kaya stopped in her tracks.
"Wait, guys." she said. "Maybe we shiouldn't do this, what if we get caught?"
"Kaya, Kaya," began Miko. "Your pagganap as if we're breaking and entering, we're just going to some old abandonded house! It's not like there's people actually living there!"

"Come on!" Iro hissed.
They started to walk around the house, Kaya was walking along when she spotted someone; she looked at it, but it quickly left.
"Hello?" she called.
She saw the person again; it was a young lady with black flowing hair, and wore a white long gown.
Kaya followed the girl, but everytime she got closer to the young lady, she would always run off.
As she was about to catch up to her, Iro caught her arm.
"Kaya, what's wrong?" Iro asked.
"A young lady with a white gown, I was--" she began to explain when she saw that the young lady was no where to be seen. "She was just here a moment ago!"
Just then, they heard a loud scream; it came from Suka.
"What's wrong?" asked Iro.

The kids looked around and their jaws fell open as they saw their parents laughing at them.
"Surprise!" cried Katara.
"Mom?!" called Kaya.
"So, Iro, this was your "bathroom break"?" asked Zuko, chuckling.
Iro laughing nervously, as Miko stepped in.
"Wait a minute! If you guys are our parents...then who's that?" asked Miko pointing at an ugly rock with twigs for arms, and a melon for a head.
"It's called "Melon Lord", son!" replied Sokka as he walked from its behind.
Miko's jaw fell wide open.
"So it was you guys all this time?" asked Suka starting to get angry.
"Yep!" replied Suki, smiling.

"Well, this is what you get for leaving the apoy Nation palace without our permission!" sinabi Katara sternly.
The kids hung their head in shame.
"Wait, then who was the lady?" asled Kaya.
"What lady?" asked Katara.
"The lady that I saw, she was wearing a white toga and her hair was coal black!" explained Kaya. "Who was she?"
Katara and the others gave each other confused looks.

He led them to a near sa pamamagitan ng window; he climbed up towards it and pushed it open.
"This way!" he whispered.
Soon, all of the kids climbed up to the window and went inside.
Iro extended his hand and apoy imidiately lit from his hand; it made the room a bit lit.
"Ick! This place is filthy!" Suka remmarked.
"It was abandonded a long time ago, what did you expect?" teased Miko.
Suka thumped him on the head.
"THERE'S A BIG GHOST RIGHT IN FRONT OF MIKO!!!" screamed Suka.
Miko shivered as the ghost howled at him; the ghost was all white and round, it had black eyes and a frowning black mouth, it looked very angry.
"I want childreeeeeeen!!" howled the ghost.
The kids screamed and ran to the left wing of the hallway, but they stopped in their tracks; another ghost just like the first one blocked their way!
"Childreeeeeeeeen!!!" hissed a raspy voice, except it was a woman's voice.
The children screamed againa and rand the other way.
"Hey, didn't that other ghost sound just like your mom?" asked Miko to Kaya.
"Who cares! Let's just get out of here!" cried Kaya as she ran.
Just then, a figure appeared in front of them. The kids stopped in terror as the figure stared at them; the figure had its harms extended sideways, they were brown and moldy, its body looked like it was made of rock and had an old red magsuot ng bata around it; but the scariest of all, was its head, it was horribly disfiguered and green, it's eyes and mouth were glowing and it laughed evily at them.
"MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!" laughed the creautre.
"AAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!" the kids screamed and ran off.
"THIS WAY!" shouted Iro ad headed towards the window from which they came from.
Iro climb to it and tried to push it open, but it was stuck.
"I can't open it!" cried Iro.
"WE'RE DOOMED!" cried Miko.
"WE'RE GOING TO DIE!!" shriked Suka.
They all turned back and saw four ghosts and the horrible figure coming towards them.
The kids screamed and cried in terror; until the ghosts stared to laugh.
But it was a normal laugh, as if the ghost were laughing at something funny, as if they were laughing at the kids!
"What's so funny?" demanded Iro, although a bit scared.
A sound of cloth falling down was heard in the dark; soon, all of the candles were lit.
"This isn't fair!" whined Miko.
"Yeah! You guys scared us half to death!" agreed Suka.
"There was no lady in a white gown, Kaya." answered Suki. "It was just the five of us, Katara, Zuko, Mai, Sokka, and I."
"Then...who was--"
"Come on, kids, we better get going, it's waaaaay passed your bedtime!" announced Sokka.
Soon, the kids and their parents all left the abandonded summer tahanan and headed straight to the apoy Nation palace.
I know I saw someone there! thought Kaya. I just know it!
And high on tuktok of the mountains, a young lady with a ghostly white gown, and flowing black hair watched the young kids and their parents leave her home, and vanished along the howling wind.
