It's got it's good points, but honestly is going to be an insurmountable task, considering B2F is one of the holy grails of the film industry, and though one of the most successful films of all time, no one has dared remake it. So it is going to be an uphill battle if to convince a studio to even look at a script without a major blockbusters in your credits. Not to say you shouldn't keep trying, but know the path.
