I didnt quite get it when Edward sinabi to Bella in the fist movie.."It's not like drinking ur blood for instance"

Like they were talking about how his family is considered vegeterian.. i understand that cus they eat animals... but like he sinabi humans eat tofu etc.. but then he says you are not fuly satisfied then... "It's not like drinking ur blood for instance"... what does he mean?

He's comparing it to how it would be for humans eating tofu. It's pagkain and it sustains you but it's not the same as eating something else madami appealing. So while Edward drinks animal blood he would much rather drink human blood especially Bellas.
