Beyal sat in the middle of a field. With the vast sky with its many stars above him and the cool ground beneath him Beyal felt perfectly at peace with himself. Sometimes the monk wanted to get away from the others. He was so different from them all in so many ways. His accent, his thoughts, the way he was brought up, the listahan just kept going. Beyal on most occasions could find at least one difference between him and the others a day.
When the others fell asleep was the perfect opportunity to steal away. He'd go back eventually, but for now he'd rather sit and watch the stars swirl above him.
"Beyal," called a sleepy voice from behind him.
The young monk turned to see a tall, red headed girl approaching him. "Hi Jinja," greeted Beyal.
"I woke up and saw you weren't at camp. I got worried so I went looking for you. Why are you out here?"
"I am just partaking in the enjoyment of staring at the constellations," replied Beyal.
"So in simple terms: you're bituin gazing?"
"Yes,"
Jinja settled on the ground susunod to Beyal. Their bodies lightly touched for their close proximity from one another. The girl looked to the sky to see what the silver haired boy found so fascinating. She smiled when she spotted a familiar constellation. "Look Beyal, it's Ursa Major."
Beyal looked where his friend was pointing. He smiled at the familiar constellation of the great bear.
"Y'know, the big madala reminds me a lot of Locke now that I look at him," nagkomento Jinja as she tried to make small talk with the monk susunod to her. Beyal was so amazing to her. The guy was wise, calm, and kind to everyone. She wished she knew if he thought she was amazing too.
To her disappointment Beyal only nodded at her remark. The monk looked deep in thought. Did he have to look too deeply into what she sinabi all the time? Jinja yawned. She was really tired and the cold weather was making her sleepy.
Before she could even think about what she was doing, Jinja laid her head against Beyal's shoulder. The monk gave a little jump. He looked down confusedly at the female leaning against him. Beyal's face reddened. "J-Jinja?" he stammered.
"You don't mind if I rest my head on your shoulder do you, Beyal?" asked Jinja.
The monk rapidly shook his head. "Of course not, Jinja. You may lean on me if that is what you wish."
Jinja smiled and closed her eyes. Beyal couldn't help but think Jinja was incredibly beautiful. The young monk thought a lot of things were beautiful like Arachneblade and Glowblade, but Jinja was different. She was a special kind of beautiful.
Beyal wanted to be madami to Jinja. He could tell the girl believed he was something special. But would destiny allow them to be together?
Sighing heavily the young monk looked to the stars above. There, he received a startling sign. Out of the many diamonds of light he could make out the message "B + J" spelled out with what looked to be a puso around it.
Beyal smiled. It looks like destiny has bigger plans for them afterall.
