His name has lobo origins:
A sneaky nod to Lupin’s status as a werewolf, the name ‘Remus’ comes from Roman mythology. In the story, ‘Remus’ was raised sa pamamagitan ng mga lobo along with his brother, Romulus. If the brother’s name also sounds familiar, it’s because that’s the name Lupin went sa pamamagitan ng while speaking anonymously on Potterwatch in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Clever, clever.
