So why the new Menudo was a failure while Carlos Pena ilipat to BTR was a successful one?

Remember Making Menudo when Carlos P. competed and being eliminated so early, then the new Menudo was form but disbanded in 2009, while Carlos just started his big time career as a member of BTR and went on with ginto Record award and booked lots of concerts right now.
