I read recently in the Times newspaper that Mr. Forsythe had been taping the TV coverage of tanong time in the house of commons because he had noticed a resembleance to the performances there to some variety acts.
I too noticed that resembleance. My particular example the Tony Blair "Billions spent here, billions spent there" answer to practically any tanong he received.
That answer sung to the old Music Hall song "When father painted the parlour" ("Dabbing it here, Dabbing it there) seamed to me to ipakita the roots of his performance.
The artikulo in the Times hinted that a TV ipakita giving examples of politicians performances and the similarity with ipakita business acts may be possible. I hope so.
