This may seem like a dumb question, as people might just say 'duh start at the begining' but the first Buffy i saw was s1 and it didn't get me into the show. It's not that i thought it was bad, it just wasn't enough to get me hooked. It was s2 that got me into the show, after a friend told me i would love it and should give the show another chance.

i completley agree i would start the from season 2 episode 2 if there didn't think buffy would be for them

i became a fan starting with season 6 thanx to my sister, but season 2 was the best season to win over fans

season 4 onwards really got me into the show but i love season 5 =)

Yeah, S1 isn't that great- it's good but not great. I made my sister watch the whole series with me, including s1, and she loved it, but if I were just to recommend it to someone, I'd probably recommend they skip s1, go straight to s2. If they liked that they could go back and watch s1.
