Kat was shocked. She stared at the mirror for a good five minutes. She swore she saw her balahibo get lighter, but she just thought to herself, 'It's just this eye, it's probably affecting my eyesight.' She stared. She was dead silent. The only sound was the telebisyon in the other room. Drix had left with Zapnis. They needed to take care of something.

She could have made a sudden outburst. Any segundo now and- "AHH!" she shrieked, scaring the living daylights out of Ozzy. She felt something wet trickling down her arm. She saw the huge gash in her arm, which was gushing blood, but the blood was- gray? But- how? "Kat, what has gotten into you, girl?" Ozzy said, "You can't just go around bein' all cool, then screamin' like bloody murder-" He saw her arm. Kat was silent.

She looked at her arm, then at Ozzy, then back at her arm, saying nothing. "Kat?" Ozzy sinabi again. This time, Kat was rude, "No! Go away! Get outta here! Leave me alone!" she ran off.

"I gotta call Drix!" Ozzy said. He grabbed his phone and dialed Zapnis' cell phone number. "'Sup!" sinabi Kat's cousin. "It's Kat." sinabi Ozzy. "Give Drix the phone!" Zapnis gave the phone to Drix. The anxious alien ran off to do his business. Ozzy explained what had happened with Kat. "We'll be right there!" sinabi Drix, hanging up the cell phone.

When Zapnis went to Kat's room, Kat ran out at him on all fours. "Kat?" he said. Kat hissed and leapt at her cousin. Was he doomed?
