I pag-ibig Christmas, it is one of my paborito holidays ever. Even though it was madami exciting when I was a child or even a teenager. But I grew up and my sister who is 7 years younger than me, she's 25, I don't see her as much, even on holidays as she lives with her boyfriend of a year. Plus her job as a VJ at our local radio station takes up a lot of her time. Then there is the fact that my nana on my mom's side always put on the best Christmases, pasko was also her paborito holiday, but sadly she passed away 4 years ago, then with my Aunt and Uncle going to either New York to have pasko with my cousins, their children, who are in their 30's or they go to Santa Barbra. Now, why don't my family and myself go there to celebrate pasko with them? Well, that is because me and my family live in Canada, we don't have a lot of money to go to the US and I don't even have a passport. Anyways pasko is just dull right now, to me, even though it is my paborito holiday. Now on with my list. Most of these are family movies, there may be a couple that aren't but are still considered pasko pelikula to me and what I would watch around pasko and New taon Eve.

1. Home Alone 2 Nawawala in New York
1992 Starring Macaulay Culkin, Daniel Stern, Joe Pesci

I pag-ibig tahanan Alone 2. It is my paborito pasko movie ever. I've watched it every pasko since it first came out. I do like the first one and the third but the segundo one is the best. It's madami funny. But one thing I just read on Google, is that it's only 24% on Rotten Tomatoes, it's not that bad, it's not bad at all. I just don't understand.

2. The Santa Clause
1994 Starring Tim Allen, Judge Reinhold, Wendy Crewson

I pag-ibig this movie. It's one of my paborito pasko movies, obviously. Besides the fact that it has Santa Clause and the North Pole and all that good stuff, it is basically about the magic of Santa Clause. Now, I can't remember how old I was when I stopped believing, I think I was about 9 or something like that. It's just a really great movie.

3. How the Grinch estola Christmas
1966

I love, love, pag-ibig this movie. It's so cute. I know I've sinabi this twice already but I really do watch it around Christmas, I try to on pasko Eve. Anyways, I just think it's so amazing. To me, it's better than the live action version with Jim Carrey, that one's funny and it's got a young Taylor Momsen but the cartoon is way better. I just pag-ibig it so much.

4. Black Christmas
1974 Starring Olivia Hussey, Margot Kidder, John Saxon

I know, it's a horror movie, I get that. I wouldn't recommend you watch it if you are scared of horror movies. But to me, I enjoy it. It's based around Christmas, though it's spooky.

5. National Lampoon's pasko Vacation
1989 Starring Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid, Beverly D'Angelo

This movie is great. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, like my mom as she doesn't like the main actor in the movie. I just think it's funny. Though the movie is a bit of a disaster, literally. It's just a really great movie to watch during the Holidays.

6. The Muppet pasko Carol
1992 Starring Michael Cain, Frank Oz

I pag-ibig this movie. I've watched it every pasko since I was a child. My brother, who has Autism, has had it since his birth, anyways, he was obsessed with that movie. So, we had to watch it. I've never seen the original pasko Carol, just this one. But regardless, I pag-ibig it, it's funny and it's a great pasko movie.

7. I'll be tahanan for Christmas
1998 Starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Jessica Biel

I pag-ibig this movie. It has Jonathan Taylor Thomas or JTT, who I had a massive crush on in the early to late 90's and just had to see this movie and I fell in pag-ibig with it.

8. Rudolph the red nosed raindeer
1964

Yep, I just had to add this. This is another movie I watched every pasko as a kid as did my parents. I still watch it to this day. No, no, I will not be ashamed for watching a Classic pasko cartoon.

9. Lethal Weapon
1987 Starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover

Okay, so it's not technically a pasko movie, like the others on this listahan but it is still based around Christmas. Regardless it's still one of my faves.

10.Jack Frost
1998 Starring Michael Keaton, Joseph Cross, Kelly Preston

I pag-ibig this movie. It's a fun and sad movie all in one. But I really like it and I like to watch it around Christmas.

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father pasko and simply "Santa", is a figure with legendary, mythical, historical and folkloric origins who, in many western cultures, is sinabi to bring gifts to the homes of the good children during the late evening and overnight hours of pasko Eve, December 24. The modern figure was derived from the Dutch figure of Sinterklaas, which, in turn, may have part of its basis in hagiographical tales concerning the historical figure of gift giver Saint Nicholas. A nearly identical story is attributed sa pamamagitan ng Greek and Byzantine folklore to Basil of Caesarea....

If a link is to be believed, most of us Fanpop users live in cities or their suburbs. For those of us who do, I issue another challenge, but this time it's not designing your own game or Pagsulat poetry. This is a pasko challenge, so it follows in the spirit of the holiday. We can all get caught up in the glamour of the holiday (in both meanings of the word), but regardless of your belief in the divinity of Jesus, the holiday is to commemorate his birth, and since most of the history we have of him is about his caring for the disenfranchised, poor and sick, I...
