Cosmo became good mga kaibigan with Sonic and friends, but most particularly with Tails. The two of them ended up alone on a mission together at one point. Tails later protected Cosmo when Shadow targeted her for assassination. Tails continued trying to stop Shadow even when he was very badly injured sa pamamagitan ng him. In the Japanese version of episode 77, Tails screamed I pag-ibig you, Cosmo!, just before he fired the Sonic Driver towards her and Dark Oak.
