If LJ. is being honest and makes an official statement, then I will support her but not before that. I pag-ibig her works whether it's Night World , Dark vision or Vampire Diaries but I will not make fool of myself where the person doesn't care for her fans to make at-least one official statement that she is not owner of the books and why she has been fired.I mean seriously the 1st book has been published over 20 years nakaraan and now she is telling us in e-mail that it's not her property, Did it look like I'm on drugs? If she thinks so, then she is wrong,she has to make an official statement about it so that I can feel compassionate towards her.And I want an official statement from the publishers also, if they have only hired LJ. then vampire diaries is their property, so.... I will not do anything unless the feelings is mutual and unless she makes an official statement, you never know what's truth and what's not because she says one thing to one fan, another thing to another fan, so I will not be an idiot where LJ can't even have the courage to tell her fans in her blog what had happened.

Why not? We can ship different couples but at the end of the day... we all are TVD fans..

Are we (DE, SE, and BD) prepared to pay L.J. Smith's attorney fees so that her lawyers can mediate between her and Alloy Entertainment industries?

I bet you a penny the answer is NO-WAY JOSIE. So, if TVD fans are ready and willing to pool their funds in order to back the fight of L.J. Smith's life, than I'll gladly support this altruistic plan.

However, in all honesty, if this rumor is true, then I don't see how a petition or campaign is going to affect the outcome of Smith's case.

I know a lot of people are caught up in the details of what she had planned to write versus Alloy's desire to steer the series in another direction, but I honestly can't see any other outcome for her.
