I'm torn between much madami than two lovers
I'm torn between two different ways of life.
One showed me what it was like to pag-ibig another.
The other? What it feels like to fly.

My first pag-ibig gave me a ligtas haven,
a quiet place to hide when I was scared.
Everything in life revolved around him.
I knew that other loves could not compare.
I never thought that I could pag-ibig another,
no one could ever tempt me to stray.
Then one araw my eyes were opened to him
and I knew our pag-ibig could never be the same.

It was in this time that my puso found another
and so much madami than the first he makes me smile.
I can't imagine a araw without him sa pamamagitan ng my side.
He's shown me that my life is worthwhile.
He's helped me find the strength I didn't know I had.
He's made me embrace my inner me.
My first pag-ibig made me hide deep inside myself.
My segundo has shown me how to be free.

If I embrace a life with the first, it'll be so easy.
I won't ever have to challenge myself.
I can stay unscathed on the pedastool he puts me on
but all the while I'll wish he was someone else.

A life with the segundo would never be boring.
We'd fuss and fight and argue our way through our days.
He pushes me and never lets me settle.
He makes me feel too much and I'm afraid.

Two different men, two different ways of living.
Both pag-ibig me in ways I had always hoped for.
Should I choose safety and the man that holds me down?
Should I follow my puso to the man that lets me soar?

I know there really is no choice to make
between a simple pag-ibig and a pag-ibig that makes me whole.
My first pag-ibig touched my puso and probably always will.
My segundo is the one that touches my soul.
