Not really. She just wanted to make sure all her friends are OK. It wasn't just Stefan. But still, I felt a pity for Damon.

idk because it was a tuff choice, i mean her friends were with Stefan, but if it was just Stefan and Damon without her friends and she chose to go to Stefan it would have ruined DE more for me.

Elena was really sad she couldn't be on his side but all her other life-long friends also needed help so it was Elena like the other way would have ruined her character but I'm sad about it :/

Now that you mention it. it really hurt that she didn't care enough to try and see Damon before he was going to die. Considering she already said goodbye to Stefan before.

I would have taken in consideration that everybody was with Stefan, Tyler and Caroline and no one (except evil Alaric...) was with Damon. If I were her I would've gone tot Damon, even if she had chosen Stefan in the end, she should have cared enough for Damon to not let him die alone.
Still I'm totally Damon and Elena, and I can forgive her for this mistake:)

No, because she knew that he would be ok. because she believed in him. she knew Damon well enough to trust that he would be fine.
